New China in Surrey Heath

I’ve tried a lot of Chinese food and this is by far the best chicken chow mein I’ve ever had. The food is so fresh and everyone is super friendly. Thank you so much. You won’t find a better Chinese. Xx

Tried this takeaway for the first time how disappointed we all were. Asked for no beansprouts in the chow Mein, got beansprouts, chicken was translucent in the middle clearly undercooked had to throw the whole dish in the bin. Beef really chewy, a shame as the flavours were ok. Can't see how just eat can rate so high.

Ordered via Just Eat, was told 45 minute delivery time. After two hours it finally arrived, luke warm and with one of the dishes completely wrong. What they did deliver was mediocre to say the least. The Thai curry was a tasteless white gloop, the special fried rice had no discernible vegetable content at all. Called them to complain and they said it would take an hour to replace the missing special curry. Got a refund via Just Eat. Will not be ordering again from here.

Just ordered a large takeaway for delivery from this outlet and when arrived the Crispy Shredded Chilli Chicken was soggy and very claggy and the Kung Po King Prawn dish was very bland. I had to reheat all dishes even though I am just 5 minutes from them? I called the takeaway to complain and all I was told after hearing a very clearly upset “chef” in the background that this is how the Crispy Chilli dish is and that it was cooked for long enough and it is fine to eat that way? I have had this dish from them previously and it certainly was not soggy and chewy like this. Apparently this is how it is in a set menu!! Was told that nothing could be done and I would have to try and get a refund through Just Eat. All I asked for was simply a replacement dish and even offered to send the existing one back for them to see it was a genuine complaint!!! Appalling service!! Have used New China for a long time now but just recently the food standards and service have declined which astounds me with competitors such as Hot Wok, Tops Oriental, Imperial Bridge and Chapter 5 to name just a few who all seem to have good reputations!! Poor, Poor, Poor!!!

Had last week. Complained through just eat. Was absolutely tasteless and vile. After the first mouthful something told me it wasn't right. I was sick for 2 days

Great food, always arrives piping hot and very tasty would highly recommend.

Always a busy take away business and with good reason, we almost always have a great meal from here for reasonable prices but sadly because of how busy they can get on very rare occasions some items have been below their very high standards and will continue to use them as long as it's of high quality. Many thanks and keep up the great service.

Excellent food, best I have had in the area. Food not super salty or dripping with oil, very good quality. Friendly staff too!

Really tasty and doesn't feel as heavy as some other Chinese takeaways. Good portions, especially for the mixed starters. Haven't not come here in years, I think that this will become my regular now.
