We have been quite disappointed this time with our stay at the Pennyhill Park Hotel. The bathroom for one did not have a hand rail in the shower for older people to hold onto. No shelf to put the soap on; no anti-slippery mat. The bottles of shampoo and body soap were too large to use, and extremely impractical. No soap bar.The room was not properly checked before our arrival; both telephones were out of order. One of the radiators did not work, the other two took more than 30 hours to heat.No adequate chest of drawers.Housekeeping had not emptied the rubbish bins and left all the lights on.However, the staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. The setting is superb. The food is very nice.

Pennyhill Park is superb! We spent 2 nights and the management and staff could not have been kinder, made us more welcome or been more professional. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We look forward to visiting again soon and would have no hesitation in recommending it. The hotel is beautiful and the hospitality second to none. Thank you for giving us the most memorable stay.

Amazing, as always. The spa has had some new additions in the thermal heaven since I was last here which were fabulous and I love what's been done with the restaurant space. Stunning equine inspired suites with huge floor space and all the trappings you would expect from this property.

Our Suite was very comfortable indeed. Love Molton Brown toiletries too! All staff were very polite and accommodating. Super dinner in Hillfield - the Venison Wellington is excellent - and a great variety for breakfast. Used the Spa for a couple of hours upon arrival, and deemed it necessary to squeeze in another hour the next morning. The scented steam rooms are divine. A thoroughly enjoyable stay feeling looked after in luxury.

Visited for Valentine's day weekend. The highlight really is the spa area. We had an afternoon wine and waited for the sun to set so we could enjoy the outside pools with the stars. Really lovely and very clean in the spa area. They gave us a room upgrade to a massive room, which was also lovely. Would recommend if you're looking for a spa escape.

Stunning setting to outstanding food and activities. Great staff, knowledgeable and always willing to help. Their bakery is out of this world, so breakfast can turn into the biggest meal of the day! Highly recommended for that special occasion in your life.

This hotel has been spoken about amongst friends and social media for a long time so we thought we would give it a try. Itâs a huge hotel with a lot to offer. Fantastic evening meal. Just lacked attention to detail for us, we paid a fair amount of money for a one night stay at this 5* hotel but sadly didnât have the wow factor I expected. Small things like; food crumbs on the windowsill for breakfast, leaves in the pool and the spa (particularly by the large indoor pool) looks generally âtiredâ. Probably wouldnât go back.

Beware Motherâs with children are not welcome in this hotel with spaI have been struggling to enjoy my stay as the spa ( main reason to vist the hotel in the winter) not just doesnât allow the children in the indoor pools and hot tubs (which makes sense) but while offering them to swim in the outdoor pool ( supposed to be warmly heated ( and itâs not) doesnât offer any changing room for children for changing nor drying hair. The mum with the child after the chilly bath are supposed to go out wet in the freezing cold winter straight to their rooms because itâs forbidden to use the indoor changing rooms ( that are the sole ones heated and organized)It has been a very disappointing experience in particular because I specifically asked if the stay and the spa would have been enjoyable for a family with a 5 years old child and obviously in order to make us complete the booking they didnât mention the crazy complications that we would have experienced during our stayVery sad also to leave such a bad review as the staff at restaurant and house were kind but still it would have been fair to tell us is not a place for families with children.

The drive and covered walkway were promising. The reception looked nice. The restaurant and food was nice. Lovely spa. Big room. Lovely sheets. All else very disappointing. Absolutely no greeting upon arrival. Lack of information/communication. Dirt in the spa and broken tiles. They hadnât bothered changing the clocks so everybody was confused on what time it was. Room wasnât ready on time. Didnât get the room we had booked either so weâre put in a very dated room. Large but dated with very basic furniture - certainly not a suite. Didnât live up to its name. Very disappointing and severely overpriced.
