The Royal Standard in Surrey Heath

I visit on a fairly regular basis now to enjoy the burger and beer. The burgers taste great every time and chips are served piping hot. The pub has a great and friendly atmosphere and the service is excellent. The new menu is excellent and I am enjoying the new burgers now available.

I have a great experience every time I visit. The service, food and drink are Mark and his team are very friendly.

We popped in for dinner tonight (Saturday) as we like Greene King restaurants.When we arrived there was a very loud disco playing. Although the music was loud we didn't mind that as much as the inane, what I can only call shouting, over every song by the DJ.His grating voice went right through me. There was absolutely no chance of talking at the table.We had drinks and left.This venue needs to decide what it is. If it's a pub with stupidly loud DJs then say so I we wouldn't have gone in. BUT if it's a restaurant there needs to be a thought for those wanting to dine

We popped in after finishing shopping for uniforms and the staff her were very friendly. Food was delivered very quickly and tastes amazing. Very reasonably priced too. Will definitely come here again.
