Toby Carvery in Surrey Heath

First time going to this restaurant and weren't disappointed. Food was lovely-particularly liked the choice of meat and veg: Yorkshire puds, roast potatoes, gravy and macaroni cheese were lovely! Son loved the fizzy drink machine-mixing all sorts of flavours.However, it did seem understaffed (although our server Josh was nice) for a Saturday night. Also, the inside and outside of building looks a bit shabby: flaky/dirty paint, blinds broken or missing, furniture worn.All in all, a very good experience for a great price-would definitely go again!

April 2022: A bit of a wait to get seated and for the drinks order to be taken, but the choice, quantity and taste of the carvery food was excellent. Dessert portions were generous too. Overall I was very happy with the experience, first time since I have been with the family since covid struck the nation

Ordered a Carvery to be delivered. Three portions of pigs in blankets were missing. I ordered beef and turkey. I received one slice of turkey and two end pieces of beef that were about 2 inches long and 1 inch wide. Tried to phone about the missing items. No answer. Left an answerphone message. I won't hold my breath waiting for a reply. I won't order from here again.

Another day, another Toby Carvery. This time away from Gloucestershire and in sunny Frimley, whilst visiting the World Darts Federation. A relaxing hour enjoying a carvery in a fairly quiet and relaxed restaurant. Food was good, service was good and the bill too. Next to the Travel Lodge, so the Toby is ideal for breakfast, lunch & dinner.

Had a hospital visit nearby and tend to grab a carvery dinner there whenever I'm over that way. Got there just before the carvery opened for service but was well looked after by my server. Food was very good, four types of meat & lots of veg (although no peas) on offer and my only problem was having eyes bigger than my belly! Good value for money and an enjoyable way to spend a lunchtime.

I went today at 4 o clock we found that it has gone down hill the price has gone up . But portions of meat small staff still nice toilet very strong smell of urine plus all over the floor. Been going there for many years . But won't be going back anymore plus had apple pie and custard. Custard was very look warm

Delicious food, and such a friendly atmosphere. All the staff were brilliant especially our waitress Pixie. Made a special celebration really fantastic. Thank you all, we can't wait to come back.

Toby is excellent. Price is fine, use to be really good value a long time ago. JACQUI WAS AMAZING as well as the chefs at the counter in the evening of Friday 27th August

Lucky I booked a table, it's a very busy restaurant. The food was great, lots of tables, service was good. Staff Jacqui was very friendly, gave 100% excellent service!
