ASK Italian - Faversham in Swale

A lovely little restaurant with a variety of nice foods for picky eaters like myself. I have tried some new things on the menu, some are not to my taste but nonetheless there is a lot of nice things on the menu.

Good looking restaurant with a very friendly and helpful staff. The food was average compared to other Italian restaurants that I tried in the UK or Italy for similar price. The size of the meal was decent. If you are not very demanding about food this is a good place where to go with friends or family.

Lovely food and great staff for our family get together. Thanks to all the staff for making the time go so well.

My food was good, but wasn’t as nice as I thought.However, my dads food and mums food was originally taken to another table. The waitress walked away, then came back after a couple of minutes, took the food from the table and then brought it to our table.My dad said he no longer wanted this, as the other customers had been breathing over it. They said they’d bring a fresh one out. 2 minutes later, it arrived. The same one had arrived and the pasta was crispy from being grilled. We was told it was fresh however I don’t see how you can boil pasta, and cook meatballs in 2 minutes. The top was bubbling and crispy so was clear it had been reheated.We did get a free dessert but that is not the point - waitresses should know their tables.

We booked here for my partners birthday and there was 9 of us altogether. Starters were okay not the best though. However, the mains were a completely different story. The Sea bass alforno came out with a water sauce that tasted like sea water, was absolutely vile. And the potatoes were solid! The Pollo Milanese looked like weatherspoons quality and taste wise I definitely would of chose weatherspoons! The Pollo de la cassa was just a bowl of dry, flavourless pasta. The carbonara was just pasta with a flavourless source which made it very difficult to eat. Overall, the food was awful and we will not be returning or recommending to anyone! However, we had no problem with the service, the girls were amazing! But new chefs are needed!

Chicken starter came hot, which always a good marker.. I had Margherita Pizza as a main which tasted fresh and flavourful, the service was friendly. atmosphere was quite loud but only because it was full and people were having a good time.

One of my favourite restaurants and we go here quite often! I love the chicken and mushroom risotto and the cocktails are amazing. Awesome pizzas too. The staff are great and there is a lovely seating area outside for when its warmer. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

Really nice food but they kept taking the bins out past our table. Literally within 30cm of our table dragging full black bags along the floor multiple times whilst we where eating.

Firstly let's give a 5 star rating for the food , absolutely stunning. The location and staff were brilliant .However we were stuck next to a family from hell. 3 children who had the table manners that a pack of rabid wild dogs would be proud of and obviously the parents are from the earth mother / father genre , let the little ones make as much noise as they are only young once brigade. I can only surmise that they sit in their yurt in the evenings howling at the moon.I just wish the management had had the guts to ask them to calm down and remain seated.It spoilt what was and brilliant meal.

Everything about my visit here was lovely. The food was lovely, the dessert was amazing! Salted Caramel Icecream was delicious. The presentation was amazing too!
