Average food. They cannot handle big tables or when the restaurant is busy as a whole. Poor organisational skills. When quiet, it's quite nice. Salmon pie is a must try though!

Booked this restaurant blind as we was staying nearby for a wedding. Unexpected soft play and park for the kids was a massive bonus. Staff were attentive and the food was spot on. Highly recommend

Too crowded. Had to queue for ages to get a drink, then again to order a meal and those of us having carvery had to wait again in the queue for that. The backs of several chairs were sticky which the manager blamed on children running around! The ladies toilet had dirty nappies stacked on the sanitary bin. This was at 12.15 so not as if had been open for long. The fish pie was lots of potato and sauce and the little fish in it was some hard, brown unidentifiable apology for fish. We ate in relays as it seemed impossible to serve 8 people at once. Shan't be returning.

Somewhat limited menu if you want anything vaguely healthy, but fine as an occasional treat. They principally do (huge) burgers and the usual pub grub. As it was lunchtime though, I settled on a club sandwich which was a tad light on chicken, but otherwise not bad. Nice skin-on fries though. Was most impressed with the Eton Mess Sundae which was under 300 calories on account of replacing the ice cream with frozen yoghurt. Definitely helped balance the calories in the main courses. And the free tea and coffee refills were a most welcome surprise.Fortunately, we managed to reserve a quieter, more secluded table as the main dining area was really noisy. We guessed this might be the case what with it being half term.

We went here for my mum's wake. We had a private area and the food was brought out promptly and was very good. My dad was pleased with the spread. The glueten free sandwiches were inedible (no spread to keep the filling in and nothing else except chips were available.) We didn't know how many were attending but ordered plenty of food. Had to pay for extra coffees. The reason I'm giving 4 stars is because the toilet facilities were less than acceptable (only one toilet available and not clean.)

Staff are also so polite & professional. Food is adequate to good, depending on how busy they are depends on how well cooked/hot your food is. With covid being an issue, they have done really well.My Neice (toddler) & my Nephew (Tweenie) LOVE the soft play thou & for that reason, we will be coming back regularly!

Service was shocking, waited 20 minutes for dessert that took minutes to prepare. Main meal was lukewarm at best. Been going there for years, even worked there. Not going back.

Went with family for Christmas meal. Average around an hour to get each course. Had to ask where our desserts had got to. Staff didn't know which steak was which, also didn't know the difference between brandy sauce and custard. Coffee machine had lukewarm milk in it so drinks weren't very nice. Only one hot dessert available on a Christmas winter menu, most people dont want ice cream based desserts in December. Apart from the rock hard parsnips the turkey dinner was quite nice. Quite disappointing considering it appeared very quiet at the time, hate to think how it would be if they were busy.

Phoned in twice 2 hours before arrival to book a table and was not answered, upon arrival mentioned the phone and was told "oh, yeah. Sorry" moved onto ordering food and drinks for myself my wife and my daughter. Forgot to hand my fruit shoot. I ordered a steak medium done and came out well done, chewy and overcooked chips. Once making the manager aware, nothing was done and ended up walking out £30 short for a disaster and nothing done. Will not be returning for a while.

Good Place for the kids to play. Staff we're friendly and helpful. The food however 🤢🤢 Cold, Undercooked... Not even the kids wanted to eat mac and cheese, which is one of their favourite meals. It was empty when we was there so there should be no excuses. I don't know how they managed to mess up, frying and microwaving precooked, processed food 🤦♂️#SackTheWan*er InTheKitchen
