It's hard to find a fish and chip shop that has both the best chips and the best fish batter but have found this with Crispins. Only wish they were open later sometimes.

I don't think I have had a better Full English Breakfast than the one served at Crispin's. Perfectly cooked and presented. Good price. Friendly staff. Takeaway is very good as well.

We ordered fish and chips to go. Despite having 5 customers ahead of us our food was ready in a few minutes. Overall everything was good. For my palette the food was not quite perfect: chips a bit firmer than the very best I've had and the fish was a little bit wetter, leaking hot water into the box. Given differing tastes others might love the preparation.

The staff showed great kindness to a visually impaired couple while we were there tonight, fish and chips were the best I've ever had ! Coffee, tea and hot chocolate were hot not lukewarm the atmosphere was warm and relaxed. Will definitely go again.

Popped in on the way home from fishing with my mrs and ordered haddock and chips and cod and chips both with salt and vineger. We had stand about waiting for it to be cooked for about 20mins and it's quite cramped in there when it starts getting busy. We got home opened up the boxes and the food looked and smelled very nice. Once we tried it though it was almost inedible, the girl serving had absolutely smothered it in salt. It was so bad we had throw most of it away. In the end most of the chips went in the bin and we had to peel the batter off the fish and bin that as well, for the £15 my mrs paid for it all we could eat was a few chips and the batterless fish. This will be the first and last time using this place, much better chip shops on sittingbourne to use.

I stopped to get some lunch, £2.20 for a chip roll which is fair enough but to get half a scoop of chips in a roll is a bit of a Rip off if I'm honest!!

Lovely fresh fish and chips, cooked to order and a choice of fish. Takeaway was in a robust cardboard box which was easy to eat from in the car as we'd stopped en-route to Canterbury. Wouldn't hesitate to stop and eat here again. Dine in option was available.

I love chips so if there are any chips shops in sight, I will probably go and get some!It wasn't particularly warming when I went in but chips could be good so ordered a small chips anyway. The chips were in the heated cabinet so they were ready in an instant and not freshly fried.Unfortunately, they didn't look good before I even tried. You could see they were dry and not that evenly white.I knew that adding vinegar and salt would not help because when chips are dry.The chips lacked potato taste so I suspect they have been cut and stored for a while before they were fried or the fact that they have been fried for quite a while and left in the cabinet which caused them to dry off and go tasteless. As I couldn't finish them, I ended up throwing them in the bin near the shop but it appears that someone also threw some half eaten chips in the bin.It looks like that the person was full or they didn't like it.Judging by the chips in the bin (pic below), they were burnt and worse than what I had.Lesson learnt, next time I will probably have a quick look in the bins nearby and see if chips are thrown away as an indicator to quality.
