Marino Fish Bar in Swale

I have been to a lot of 'chippies' in my life time, and this one is definitely the best. We sat in for a meal having been around the corner at Sittingbourne Rugby Club. The staff were great,. the furnishings really good, and the food was excellent. But be warned, the servings are very generous.

We came all the way from North London to eat here! The food is amazing.We had the halloumi fries with a sweet chilli sauce dip, honestly the best we've ever had.The cod is very tasty, and the steak and ale pie is so delicious. The amount of steak in this pie was unbelievable, and it's a very generous portion. Perfect chips. All the extras such as mushy peas, gravy and curry sauce were outstanding too. Worth every penny!!!Staff are very friendly too.

Slow service for before 4pm!! Waited 25 mins for small chips and sausage that really could of been done straight away Food not worth the high price either. 4.70! Better more reliable places nearby. Wont be making this my regular.

Came this evening after a 2 year break due to Covid and we weren't disappointed.Even though the GF menu has been reduced, the waitress sorted out what we could have. We had chicken kebabs, salad and chips and it was sooooo good. Obviously no pitta but it wasn't needed. Husband and daughter had meals from the main menu and no complaints.The staff were lovely and we'll be back probably when GF fish is available. Thanks for a lovely meal 😋

Good food as always large portions. Good service. Nice clean space . Prices reasonable. Good choice of food even on a limited menu. Car parking available.

Absolutely vile.Have ordered before okay fish and chips refried is so thin full of skin and batter. That's the good part. Thought we would try the best kebab ever, what a joke. It's the same as Iceland chicken skewers, still on wooden sticks and cheap prosessed mess. Wasn't in a pitta, supermarket nan bread, cold absolutely rubbish. The wings and hollumi from same shop, probably at £6 each. Packet salad. With delivery fees of nearly £5. And £37 on total. Take note. Disgrace.

Have been here on a few occasions but last nights visit, the fish and batter was amazing. Ordered cod and chips with curry sauce. To the gentleman with the tattoo sleeve behind the fryers, keep up the great work fella. Pleasant & friendly staff as always.
