Absolutely fantastic place, with really tasty food and incredible cakes. We gad a short wait for a table, and we were given a buzzer to alert us when it would be ready, and took the time to look around the craft shop, which was packed with really lovely artisan items. The food was freshly cooked and cooked beautifully, I can highly recommend the eggs benedict- it was delicious and the avocado & pumpkin seeds really gave it a delicious twist on the norm. The rolo chocolate brownie was to die for. We were not rushed, and there was plenty of room between tables, with a good mixed demographic of customers, attentive staff and beautiful decor. This was my first visit, and it certainly won't be my last!

I enjoyed the food here. The service was brilliant for how busy the team were and the facilities also were very good but could have been cleaner.A great atmosphere although mainly feminine... I guess men having afternoon tea isn't seen much these says. The place had beautiful surroundings which made for a lovely veiw.A small part of me wished for more food options, but I'll be going back again which hopefully counts for something. It was priced okay, potentially a little too high though... I spent more then I would have on a burger and chips and if I'm honest I'd have preferred to eat that. What can I say.... I'm a simple girl and enjoy simple foods.

Absolutely fabulous. I cannot praise the winter pod evening enough. Summer and Zoe, our fabulous waitresses were lovely and couldn’t have been more attentive. The food was plentiful and delicious. Would happily recommend, We will definitely return x

Had one of the pods for 6 adults. Fantastic sharing food, great environment to chat and eat with friends. Only criticism is that the welcome sparkling wine was rather sweet.

This establishment is very close by to me and I have been a regular visitor now for 5 plus years. However, since the pandemic there has been a stark decline in both the variations with menu choices and the level of customer service! The menu is now half of what it was, replaced with similar offerings but not quite delivering on both taste, presentation and freshness. It has now become a pretentious, tacky, Instagram hungry establishment that has lost its once lovely lovely staff, integrity and understated village presence. The most endearing feature now is the fresh produce on offer from the Farm, along with the honesty box that is opposite the entrance.I took a girlfriend there today for one last chance as I’d vowed not to return last time I went. I was greeted by a young waitress who casually informed us that there were seven people ahead of us and that there would be a wait. I questioned their booking process, politely suggesting that they start to take bookings. Her curt response was that it doesn’t have any impact on waiting times, which I found to be a preposterous reply. We decided not to wait (in my opinion, not worthy of one) and went to The Maypole Inn in Borden instead.Don’t waste your money here, it’s past its best. It truly was a lovely place for food, gifts, produce and top customer service.

Tasty celebratory brunch in the lovely summer pods. The staff were very helpful and the food was generous!
