Red Goa Indian Takeaway in Swale

I've been a customer of Red Goa for many years, going right back to the glory days when it was called Masala Magic. Sadly things aren't what they used to be and the quality of the food has slipped away. My most recent madras was one of the most disappointing curries I've ever had - a thin, weak, watery sauce with hardly any flavour. It felt like the absolute minimum of effort had gone into making it.The prices have risen sharply in the last few years but the quality and vibrant taste just isn't there any more.

Great food. Staff are really lovely. Thank you all. I've always had the food arrive on time .

Used to be the best priced around but now it's one of the most expensive. Such a shame they got so greedy.

Ordered via user eats , just awful food was cold , some food poppadoms and salad did not seem fresh . Curry was very watery with little taste Left most of our food thrown away waste of £40 . Would not order from here ever again 😡😡 very upset and angry .

Lucky I even gave them 1 star service is appling everytime ordered food at 7pm tonight missed items still waiting at 9pm for them to turn up delivery driver apparently went wrong house it's a joke alwayswating hours for ur food.. when u ring up there not even bothered so half dinner sat on side cold waiting for the rest to turn up.

Have had food from here for a few years but sadly its going down hill fast.seems you only get half portions and my meal was swimming in oil and the lamb was fatty and inedible.time to find a new take away i think

For a business running for 5 years, it's still doing very well. The food is amazing, and is delicious. Always hot when it gets to me, and they never fail to deliver excellent food service, customer service and delivery service. Had a variety of different dishes, and I couldn't state one bad thing about it. Best takeaway in town, and best of many! Wouldn't go anywhere else and would recommend. The young guy who always takes my orders is always so polite on the phone, and always so helpful.I have ordered from many other Indian takeaways, and this is by far the best. The way they pack the food is great too, stays in the tub- get it from anywhere else and the bag has the food before we do! :D

Having been a loyal customer with another Indian in town for over 10 years I decided to try elsewhere. Wow, I’m lost for words as to how tasty the food is and how big the portion sizes are. Highly recommended

Avoid this takeaway.It took three hours to deliver our meal. They told us it was on its way three times baring in mind we are 10 minutes from takeaway, when it finally arrived it was missing some of the order. Which totally ruined the meal with friends then they failed to honour the promised future discount compensation on our next order which they also got wrong and once we checked against the latest menu they had over charged us.We won't be ever using this place again. No matter how good the food no one deserves to treat customers with such contempt and still be in business.P.S. The manager's/owners reply to this review is a total joke as it was him that promised the compensation and when staff refused to honour it they didn't know who or when he would be available. Not a great commitment to quality of service and I was a regular customer.Reality is he should have contacted me but how many customers has he treated with the same contempt? I doubt he even knows which of many customers he has treated this way has written this review.As I first stated best avoid this business. They cannot be trusted.

Have had two meals. Excellent food. Very tasty. I would definitely recommend.
