Always go to Woodys when we visit Laysdown they do lovely fish and chips with generous portions a special meal of small cod and chips with a side and a drink for just £6.50

Excellent fish and chips, planning to get down from London again soon just to get some more, friendly staff and well worth a visit if you are in the area.

I ordered online yesterday,it was so much easier.you can choose what time you wish to pick up.The food was delicious very got value for money. Will definitely be going back . Best chip shop and service on the island

It is the best chips that I have had in years. They were hot crispy and best of all they weren't dripping in grease. Battered sausages were really crispy and chicken strips were very tasty. I highly recommend woody's of leysdown.

Had a lovely takeaway, really nice chips. Everything is cooked fresh (this does mean that there can be a bit of a wait, especially when it's busy). During the weekend there wasn't a moment when there wasn't a queue, which is always a good sign.The staff were really friendly, it was really nice to see the way they treated an old gentleman who was obviously a regular.

Lovely fish and chips shop with very nice staff members! Ordered the popular cod and chips with mushy peas and they made it on the spot which was so delicious. They had a lot of different types of fish and so many items on the menu that I have not seen anywhere else. The store was very clean and one way system was really good too. Having a stand to add more vinegar could be lovely but other than this very pleased with this chippy :)!! If I am back in the area definitely will visit back again!

I pre ordered and paid on the app that was suggested by them. It was easy to do. The pick up window was not accessable so I just went to the order window. I have to hand it to the owners of this place, they clearly put importance on customer service, they were very polite and very friendly. It's rare these days to be made to feel important as a customer and the staff here did exactly that. The food was well cooked and put in a sturdy cardboard box. I will go back again to woody's. Supporting local business is vital at the moment and I enjoyed my first experience with them.
