Ordered a veggie taco, refried beans and Mexican rice. The taco said it was spicy but i couldn't feel any spice. It also said it came with cheese and it didn't :( I expect Mexican food to be spicy, fragrant and full of flavour, but there really wasn't much flavour in any of it and the veggie taco filling was very greasy. I also ordered rice, as it didn't say on the menu that the taco came with rice, so I got two very bland rices, unless maybe one of those was supposed to be the cheese and it was a mistake? Overall, sorry to leave a bad review, but not great.

Food excellent, had lovely meal with scrumptious Long Island iced tea. Menu and cocktail choices very good as was the service. Very enjoyable and would highly recommend

Food was lovely and the restaurant was very quiet as was mid week but we had a lovely time

Great service. Nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely go back, even though I wasn't a fan of what I ate.My mistake for not checking ingredients before ordering 😂

I like the food here - not a huge menu but has most of the staples for a Mexican restaurant. I’d like to see enchiladas on there though! 😎Good choice of beers and cocktails and really nice tapas menu as well.Ex-pub that had a full refurb before reopening so atmosphere is good.🌮🌮🌮🌮

Nice staff great cocktails but the food was awfulWe had nachos to start which were chewy and luke warm or crispy and cold on the same plate, obviously microwaved badly and then put on a cold plate.Main was enchiladas burnt on one end and filled with grainy bland mince meat.My partner had half of her pulled pork chimichanga, within minutes of being home is now being ill!Staff were friendly, helpful and quick to serve. We had 2 cocktails and both were excellent. In the end I should have cooked at home.

Came for our Xmas work meal last night. Food was good. Cocktails awesome.Starters got mixed up. We had to work out for ourselves which one the vegetarian option was as they didn't know as all the fillings looked the same. We asked for water twice and still didn't get any until a third time of asking. But the most annoying thing was it was so obvious they were trying to get rid of us as quick so they could go home! We were the only people in there for the last hour and a half and we felt very rushed through our meals. Staff were too eager to take our plates away when we were still eating and trying to bring out the next course when we were not all ready. Then at the end whisking all our glasses away. Shame really as its usually a lovely place to eat. Also the waiter seemed to think we all needed to hear his loud conversation with the waitress as he stood at the table next to us basically shouting as he told her a story. Won't be rushing back here for a while.

Service: Very friendly and food arrived in satisfactory time given the size of our group.Food: The rest of the group enjoyed their food, however the BBQ burger I had was pretty disappointing, the burger was not overdone as requested and definitely could have done with more sauce (the burger lost a star). The desserts we all had were delicious, though a tad overpriced for the portion size.Dining area: Pretty clean and a good atmosphere with all the patrons present. All the different tables ended up singing a familiar song at one point (Come on Eileen), this was pretty funny (added store for atmosphere).

Our first visit was just after the lockdown period at the beginning of July for my birthday - had a lovely experience, amazing food and drink, really polite, helpful staff (restaurant was empty when we arrived at 6pm)Because of our good experience we visited again recently, but slightly disappointed this time round..We were called at 9:45pm the evening before we were due to eat here, to be asked to confirm our table of 6 adults. It was infact a table of 2 adults, 2 children and an infant we had booked... To immediately be told they could no longer give us our time slot (we had booked two weeks in advance!) This was during the "eat out to help out" scheme, so we could only assume the owner saw a potential larger bill from a table of 6 adults than our table. However, we were kindly told to rebook with them on any day of our choice and they would still honour the scheme for us.Hasn't really put us off, would probably visit again.
