Nice clean pub and the food is exalent had the cod and chips lovely. .

Had Sunday lunch ? Rang in at 12 for a table at 5pm not told you have to order your meal there and then which was not even possible as three people weren't even down here. only to be told at 5pm no roast potatoes only mash then when dinner was brought out no mash but chips on plate not even told so we could have changed our orders.This is the problem with places that shut for days. Monday and Tuesday .and the food was bland chicken wings starter was swimming in oil and fat if the chicken was any good you couldn't taste it for the fat the only good thing was waiting staff

What a surprise!!!Wasn't expecting anything special as I was just passing on my way from the boot sale.The greeting was very welcoming which is as important as everything else.I had the lamb roast dinner with a cup of tea for £11.95.There was plenty of lamb which was cooked just right with no gristle or stringy peices, roast potatoes were perfectly cooked, but not overcooked to a crunchy husk. The dish also came with big fluffy Yorkshire pudding, broccoli, cauliflower and carrots. Not too crunchy and not too soft.This was served very quickly with no hanging around.For dessert I had a generous helping of chocolate fudge cake and custard which was £5.It was around 12.30pm and I was surprised the restaurant wasn't packed, it should be!I was in Leysdown the previous Sunday and this was hands down the best quality, service and value. Divine food, impeccable service. Manage to accommodate a family meal for 9 with no problem at all. Children were made to feel very welcome too. A must when you take a visit to the Isle of Sheppey.

Visited here whilst on holiday. Staff friendly. Food good. We came & had a omelette & a panini. Then phoned up on the Sunday to see if we could get booked in. They were able to fit us in which was good. Would come again if I was out this way again.

Lovely pub, location, interior, exterior, pint, chips, takeaway, staff. Glad we turned around.
