The Dove has been on my list of places to try for a while and yesterday 4 of us visited for Saturday lunch. Very pretty pub, even on a wet and windy day. Service was friendly and attentive and the set course lunch was delicious and excellent value. We were all very impressed with the menu and quality of food and presentation. Look forward to visiting again, thank you.

Truly excellent food with some exceptional highlights.. Sensibly limited but all-delicious but varied menu for the small indoor restsurant in this lovely country pubs Attentive, cheerful but sensitive service Was great outdoors (incl under cover) during the summer too.

What a great pub, beautiful food, and attentive service. I’m glad we booked for our Sunday lunch as it was busy. My booking requests, beyond the normal time, date , party size, were obliged which was very much appreciated.And oh my gosh, the food! Just amazing! Fresh, local, and cooked to perfection.Despite it being very busy on the day the service was faultless.We had a wonderful visit for an early birthday celebration. Highly recommend and will return.

Food was lovely although overpriced for what was essentially 3 Prawns for starter and chicken, fondant potato and peas. Staff were lovely and attentive.

Food and service absolutely outstanding, there is nothing that can be improved here. The menu is simple but very well put together, the food is well worth the higher price. The restaurant is lacking in ambience. We were sat right next to the kitchen door with staff walking by every minute. It didn't really feel like a comfort or viable table. So much so that we didn't stay for dessert as and it took the edge off what could have been a pleasant evening.

Amazing food from a lovely country pub. So nice to have freshly prepared food rather than microwaved. Absolute gem. A credit to the new owners. We will return very soon!
