The Dover Castle Inn in Swale

Good food, good service at the right price, you pay for what you get, both my parents, 90 years old, very fussy, loved it. The staff couldn't do enough for them.

So impressed with the Dover Castle Inn. The food was excellent, the staff were friendly and the atmosphere was great. We will definitely be back. So happy to have stumbled upon this pub.

We attended on a Sunday evening as we was out for a family celebration the staff was very welcoming and the food was lovely, from the sunday roast to the fillet steak.I Would definitely return and would recommend friends or family to this lovely pub/restaurant.We was served by a young gentleman called Cameron he was very helpful and polite and make our experience very smooth.

My daughter and I were staying at Hempstead House and decided to go here for the evening absolutely amazing 👍 the food was absolutely fantastic not over priced either. We had Nachos for starters then seafood sharing platter omg it was huge but we just about managed.!!!! we really wanted a pudding but just couldn't manage anymore. The service was spot on and all the staff really friendly its a must go place to visit.

Food was amazing! Not much opportunity to ask for more drinks etc though. Otherwise it would have been a 5* for me

Very good, food was excellent, staff were friendly although they were very busy, which meant a long wait at the bar trying to order a drink before we were seated, as there was no bar staff. The car park is also not big enough, we had to park in a nearby road, which is probably quite annoying for the local residents

Food was very tasty and the atmosphere was nice and relaxed with good music playing in the background. We were there on a Monday afternoon and it was pretty quiet but still very enjoyable.Update.Been back a few times since this original review and the food and sevice has always been excellent.If you haven't been before then book a table for a meal you won't regret it.

A varied and well prepared menu. Great staff, very friendly. The Dover Castle has hit the ground running after the Lockdown.

Outstanding food lots of choice making it difficult to choose. Huge portions. Pleasant friendly and helpful staff. Only personal downside for me was the decor quite dark and gloomy for lunchtime dining but can see it being quite romantic for an intimate dinner. Worth a visit will definitely return
