Only stopped here for 1 night with my job, but what a beautiful hotel. Would love to.come back with my partner and enjoy the spa facilities. Rooms were clean and tidy and of a really high standard. The complimentary cookies were well accepted too. Good coffee machine in room and the breakfast was amazing. Well worth it.

I had such a lovely stay at The Ferry House. The food was amazing and everything comes from their own garden and/or local farmers in Kent. This is so unique and can be hardly found nowadays. The room was so cosy and clean. Breathtaking views. Staff is so friendly and go above and beyond to give you the most pleasant stay. Thank you so much!

Went for a special meal last night with visiting family from Cambodia. This was one of my son’s favourite restaurants on the island but we were so disappointed. The location is beautiful and the inside decor is welcoming and very attractive. However we felt the food was certainly overpriced and extremely sparse on the plate. Strangely both the lamb and the fish was extremely salty (which we did mention to the waitress) and although I certainly appreciate quality over quantity one broccoli spear and one mangetout really doesn’t cut it! My dessert of chocolate delice was beautiful but as I couldn’t eat my main meal certainly wasn’t worth £30! My son was going to treat us but we just couldn’t let him pay the £250 which it cost. I’m afraid we used to love dining at The Harty Ferry but I don’t think we’ll be visiting again. I feel upset to write such a negative review but it really was disappointing.

My aunt booked a table for her birthday today. 5 adults and 1child. Arrived and told our booking was not on the system..... checked through emails and found the confirmation.3pm 22nd May 5 adults and 1 child.Showed the staff and told still nothing on their system! We asked if there was anything that could be done.... they said no despite tables free both inside and outside, which we saw at least one other outside eating. We were told nothing could be done. All we were told is they could take our name and offer a discount when we book another time..... we live in Bexleyheath and came to visit as my aunt lives near here.Very disappointed and my daughter was hungry so had to look elsewhere!

Daughter's wedding venue fantastic we also stayed in a room it was immaculate and very plush the only thing that let it down was the breakfast next morning but I hasten add they refunded who had to pay so overal an excellent service

My daughters wedding was held here, I can only say that the staff did their utmost to make the guest feel comfortable. My only complaint is that when it was booked I informed them that I’m a amputee and would require a disabled room. The room I was giving was certainly not disabled friendly,it was a standard bathroom and toilet with no grab rails.I also found getting around in the bar area rather awkward due to the threshold holds from one room to another.I suggest they consult a architect on the improvements that theycould undertake.

We went as a party of 5 for lunch, the only choice was a ÂŁ25 menu of 2 items, no sandwiches or light lunch, prices terrible. The servings were very small and disappointing. This venue used to be relaxing and loads of choice of specials each day now nothing but that one menu. The road to the Ferry Inn is so bad we bottomed our car. So overall we will not be going there again. Such a shame as the place itself is beautiful, so just go for a drink and nothing else unless you can afford ÂŁ210 for 'lunch'.

Very disappointed. We've always had good food at The Ferry House and wanted to share the experience, with a friend last week. We were told we had to order both courses at the start of the meal and couldn't charge it to the room. A tough and fatty sirloin with a few overcooked chips, at ÂŁ4.50 surcharge, was not my idea of a good meal. No mushrooms, tomato or veg, just meat and chips. The beef onglet tasted nice but didn't come with any potato or any other carbs. The cheese board was just a piece of Stilton and a couple of bits of bread. We weren't asked if we wanted coffee and when we asked for another drink, at 10:30, we were told they were closed. Shame, it's a nice location but we won't be going back.

Stayed here for my sisters wedding and the level of customer service was absolutely exceptional. We all felt extremely comfortable and welcomed. The food was exquisite and catered for a variety of unusual dietary requirements without fuss.A park was available for the children to play in, the views were phenomenal, the rooms where stunning and comfortable, even had mini fridges! Mattresses were comfortable. All in all, I highly recommend. The team they have work brilliantly together and I have the upmost thanks for contributing to such a great break away. Thank you!!

We had a lovely Mothers day at The Ferry House all the staff were very attentive and made a real effort. The food was very surprising, imaginative, tasty and well presented. The position of the Ferry House is stunning and should I want to get married again I would definitely consider their venue it has breath-taking views and history. The Mothers day flowers we were presented with were a lovely touch and the 3 mothers in our party left feeling very special. Thank you to you all for a lovely afternoon.
