Lovely friendly pub/restaurant, we were a big party but they were able to accommodate us very well. They were quite happy for us to bring our own cakes. The food was ok plenty of meat but the turkey was dry and some of the roast potatoes had been left whole and were very big and consequently not cooked properly, they were very busy and i think may be a bit rushed but in the whole it was a good experience and would go again.

Terrible. Took a friend for Sunday lunch, the meat was so cold it felt like it had just come our the fridge. Beef was very dry, had not been freshly cooked. Roast potatoes were raw in the middle. Cabbage was swimming in water, gravy was cold. At least the Yorkshire pudding we’re ok. Very disappointing, will not be returning.

Always great food at affordable prices and a very friendly family run business. The pub has had a makeover recently and looks amazing and there are regular music nights. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely pub great food real friendly atmosphere my family are made to feel very welcome we go every year to play bat and trap in their lovely garden we also had my mum's funeral there and a beautiful roast dinner thank you to all the staff for a fantastic day x

Lovely food and friendly service.Came upon this on the off chance having taken dogs on beach and fancied a quick drink. Landlady opened the gate to the garden and allowed us to take the six dogs in. Very hospitality. Ordered drinks and food and was well worth the wait. Home cooked freshly made and delicious. We had chicken shish kebabs , burgers and the pepperoni pizza was the best I have tasted in a long time. Loaded fries were well loaded!! 👍👍Definitely will be back there and recommend.Thank you

Owned by the nicest of folk. Topped off by the food and a spot on pint of beer. Warm, welcoming and very accommodating. Pizza a recommended choice on the menu if that's what you like look no further

It’s such a shame we won’t get to perform here again this Christmas! But we did have the pleasure of a lovely Saturday lunch here last week. I’m extremely cautious about Covid but I have to say I found the bar, restaurant and toilet all exceptionally clean. We were served by a lady wearing a mask and visor. We felt comfortable and happy with the friendly chat we received. We will be back to try something else on the menu as it all looks lovely! Thank you for your hospitality- Grace & Matt
