Excellent food and beer at a great price. Really friendly staff and as a bonus was dog friendly. We had a day out at Conyer, a lovely walk around the site of the old brickworks then a great meal.My wife had the fish (which was huge) my son had the build your own burger and I had the chili loaded fries. Couple of pints of Canterbury Ales. Lovely.

Not good at all. Seems to have changed massively since we last ate there a few years ago. When we arrived we found that the menu was different to the one on the website, which was disappointing as the actual menu was very limited. When we asked about this we were told they hadn’t updated their website. We ordered only to find what we requested had run out. So we changed our order. We waited 50 mins for the food (beef kofte) and when it arrived it was so overcooked. In fact, I can’t remember the last time I ate something that was that overcooked. The kofte were like cricket balls; super tough and dry. Not pleasant at all.On a positive note, the pub is dog friendly and the staff were lovely. Shame they are being badly let down by the kitchen.

I have visited this pub twice now and on both occasions I have been very impressed. The decor modern, clean and warm. The staff friendly and helpful and took the time to make sure everything was perfect. We had some bar snacks the second time and I will definitely be returning to have a meal as the food was lovely. This pub is dog friendly and makes each and every dog feel at home with dog treats bowls of water and a fuss from the staff.I am so pleased we have places like this to go as this public house is 5 star

Lovely little pub and quaint beer garden which is a sun trap. Found the food a little expensive for what it was. The Ham Egg & Chips was exactly as it said on the tin. 2 thin slices of cold precut ham, frozen chips & 1 small egg. A little disappointing, but it was tasty and filled a hole. Was hoping for a nice cut of ham and homemade chips for the price paid + maybe 2 eggs? Either way, it was very clean, friendly and a pleasant place to be.The specials of the day looked exciting. Will probably go for that next time & there was a good kids selection.

Love this pub. Gorgeous little country pub tucked away in the village of Conyer.Hard to get here without a car unless you like walking. I like walking.Popular with the locals, pub has fantastic pizza menu. Hoisin duck pizza 😻Pints in the sunshine lovely in summer.

Beautiful country pub with very friendly staff and good facilities, clean toilets, a large beer garden and they're very dog friendly too. I'm not local, they hosted a family function for us, for which we are all grateful to all the lovely staff at The Ship Inn. Thank you all.Highly recommended to anyone who might be in the area, 5 stars all the way!

A lovely pub/restaurant . Located next to a dock with a fresh decor. The service was friendly and the food was fantastic.

First visit and we loved the attention to every detail. Food was delicious, lots of thought had gone into its presentation and service was great. We were even surprised to find a live band which was an added bonus. Planning to go again and take a stroll around first as it's in a beautiful setting. Would highly recommend.
