Terrific unspoilt pub at the confluence of Faversham and Oare Creeks. It's a genuinely olde worlde environment with an excellent choice of local cask beers (don't be put off by the lack of handpumps - everything's served by gravity straight from the firkin). It has a garden too for fine weather visitors.Well worth seeking out and I'd recommend the creek-side walk from Faversham.

A remote public the banks of Faversham Creek/Oare Creek. Always had a good reputation when I was in Faversham. Lovely character. Used to be a good place for food. Haven’t been there for a while.Next to a boatyard so can be very busy at times.A good place to stop for a drink when out for a walk. Also a good area to bring your camera if you are into photography.

Lovely pub at the end of a long walk! Very cosy. Good choice of drinks. No food being served that lunchtime but will definitely return to sample the food.

very friendly and welcoming pub , lots of interesting items & articles on display , some excellent ales , namely the shipwrecked bitter , reasonably priced lunch menu with sandwiches & jacket potatoes , would highly recommend .

Welcoming. Beer from Goatcher and Kent Brewery. I enjoyed a pint of the Prohibition. Good draft cider. Simple menu, well cooked, and served jovially! Not expensive. Right beside the river, would be great in warm weather, but indoors is pleasant too. Worth finding!

What a find, a real gem of a pub in a special location next to the creek. Recommend for those who like good beer and honest good food.

Possibly one of most remote pubs in Kent but that's why it's awesome! Situated at the end of a single track road, by the confluence of Faversham and Oare creeks.Friendly staff make every effort for a safe environment. Currently building closed but plenty of distanced tables in the garden, some under cover. Also sanitizer and disposable plates and cutlery. Good selection of well-kept beers. Reduced menu but still good, especially the chilli and rice which was a level above the usual bland pub fare.I'm not local.Today was my first visit but I will definitely go back!

What can I say.... Was really surprised by this really beautiful surroundings, friendly staff and such a great homemade food! Must be the best pub we have ever been!As there was 10 of us visiting Faversham, we have not booked and have no table to sit at... But we really enjoyed the cosy corner on the sofas by the fireplace 😍 the atmosphere has really created a memorable impression! Will definitely come by again!

This was a really nice pub. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We popped in for a drink and they had Christmas decorations up and a real for going which was nice. It's not that accessible for wheel chair users but for visually impaired you can walk around with care, I can't comment on the toilet facilities as I didn't use them.

Decent food with a unique surrounding. The interior is adorned with layers of mariner décor and has a homey feel. There is a dedicated area for eating inside and a spacious outdoor sitting space. The food is pretty standard for a pub, but is well portioned. The women's toilet is inside but the men's is difficult to find (outside for some reason) and doesn't lock. So beware of that when visiting.
