Had a meal here last night for my daughters birthday, staff were so friendly and attentive and couldn't do enough. Food was spot on and excellent portions also.

Lovely spacious pub, staff very friendly & helpful. Book for 6 adults 2 children. We all had the roast which was nice but hardly any veg on the plate so we all ordered cauliflower cheese @ £3 each & if u wanted Yorkshire pud they were 60p each 🤷‍♀️ & drink very expensive. Would we go back again prob not

Very good Christmas meal with friends. Generous portions and attractively presented. Helpful friendly staff and a good atmosphere. Very busy with large groups, (to be expected with Christmas parties!) and a bit noisy, but it didn't spoil the occasion. Will return for another lunch or dinner with friends.

A very spacious pub and very well run too. I noticed it was all women behind the bar including the landlady. I think that's why it was very well organised. There was a band setting up while i was there too. There is also a very nice dinning area with great reasonable priced food too and the food looked lovely. This is an ideal place to take a family or loved ones as it is a very nice pub. I pass this on the way to work each day and thought I must pop in there for a pint. Would highly recommend. 10 out of 10.

Absolutely love this place. They do an amazing Sunday lunch. They are always so accommodating and service is always brilliant, doesn't matter if its just me, my partner and our baby or a large group of us. Highly recommended!

Fantastic food and great service. I highly recommend this place. Their steak and ale pie was the best I've had. We will definitely visit again.

We had a lovely family meal at The Sun pub celebrating my daughter's 11th birthday.

YES! A pub that ticks all the boxes. The Sun Inn is located in a quiet country setting atop the mighty Hollingbourne Hill (try cycling up the beauty like I did, you’ll soon get a hunger on from the calories burnt). It’s a traditional, period pub with loads of character, oodles of space. It’s interior is a complement of old and new. I love what they have done with the jam jar style lighting fixtures.Service is warm, smiley, accommodating and down to earth. You feel welcomed and part of the pub social scene. The food, not massive in selection compared to other pubs, approaches food with the mantle “do one job, traditional British Pub Food, and do it bloody well”. The lamb rump I ordered was one of the best dishes I have tried in a while, full stop. A culinary complementary creativity. The raspberry jus, just set the whole dish off. Beautiful.I had a scenic ride around the Pilgrims Way. You should too and head to The Sun Inn.
