The Three Tuns in Swale

We had a lovely valentines day meal, with canopies, starters, sorbet, main course, dessert and teas and coffees. We couldn't be happier with the meal and the service and a nice pint of curious brew always goes down well!

This is just the best pub in our local area! Where do I start? Beer - the widest range of local ales and ciders. I haven't tried them all, but the Angels and Demons on tap is superb. Food - always the best quality with a huge variety for all diets including daily specials if you fancy something a bit different. Staff - this is honestly where The Three Tuns raises its head above the rest.They never skimp on staff, every staff member appears knowledgeable and genuinely happy to be there and happy to help. The pub quiz runs on the first Wednesday of every month and it is always a challenging mix of current affairs, general knowledge and music. I recommend booking ahead as more often than not they are full to capacity. You won't be disappointed!

I absolutely love this pub. The food really nice, Carol the landlady is so welcoming and friendly. Happy to bring you drinks and if your cold a warm blanket!

Very good and varied menus. All food fresh and home made, good selection of local beers. Third visit now and same high standards.

We paid a visit to The Three Tuns in November, having been there twice before. We had been impressed with the place on previous occasions.However, after the last visit, both my wife and granddaughter became sick! I have phoned the pub to make a complaint, which was logged by them. The only response I have had was a telephone call on my mobile whilst I was driving, and so I was not able to accept it. I have heard nothing since. As a result I have cancelled the next booking for later this month. Very disappointed as we had liked the place, and the staff were brilliant!

I loved my visit to The Three Tuns. I stopped off whilst on a bike ride through the beautiful countryside surrounding the village and had a lovely meal and a pint in the garden. Everything went very well and I really enjoyed the food and the surroundings.I opted for a Cajun chicken burger which was very tasty and well worth the money.The staff were very nice and professional and all the timings were spot on (service, waiting for food, asking if everything was okay, would I like another drink ,etc). I also enjoyed the music that was being played and I look forward to visiting again sometime soon.

I had a really excellent experience at this restaurant. The food was of great quality, quantity and surprisingly good value. The staff were friendly and helpful and the general atmosphere was really pleasant. Would definitely recommend. Our visit was a great addition to our holiday in the area.

How this pub/resto only has a 4.6 overall rating staggers me. The beer (3 tuns best), the food (3 tuns board) the, location and above all, the staff are, quite frankly, wonderful.Having gorged on starter, main courses and and beer we didn't have room for a cream tea but, Fiona and team put together a takeaway for us to enjoy at our campsite later in the afternoon.All in all, an excellent experience. First time eating there today, I had their seafood platter and my partner had fish chips and mushy peas. Very reasonably priced for both quality and portion sizes. Friendly attentive staff, but not in your face, they timed their table checks perfectly. Great place, with a nice friendly atmosphere.

A cosy quirky dog friendly country pub with lovely staff.The food was amazing however there wasn’t much choice and it was lacking vegetarian variety.Avoid the car park as getting out was an absolute nightmare. We had to ask about four other cars to move so that we could vacate despite arriving when it was empty.
