Botley Hill Farmhouse in Tandridge

Very good service and not rushed at all. Food was exceptional and such a large portion for roast dinners. I congratulate them on using fresh vegetables and they are cooked perfectly..I still managed a dessert chocolate brownie it was yummy, sometimes Brownies are too sickly this was the right consistency! Try it!

Food was nice but.... the service was not so much. Having got there early we had 7 of us. We sat down at a table for 8. We was then told we had to use a table for 6 and put one chair on the end. The tables are very small even for 2 people to share. One of us basically had to balance the plate on our lap. Food was nice but not somewhere in would go back to. This was in the sheep shed not the main building.

Actually we are at The Sheep Shed just next to the farmhouse.Wonderful environment, service is good, the waitresses are friendly and helpful.The food is good and delicious, especially the fish and chips and the fish cake. The beef burger is ok.The Sheep Shed is a tea house next to the farmhouse and they serve home made sandwiches, cake... And some of the dishes are cooked inside the farmhouse kitchen served at the tea house.Around 1 hour drive from downtown London.

Lovely country pub set on a farm with excellent views, if you can get to sit outside when the weather is nice then why not! I have been here 2 times now, sitting in different parts of the pub and I must say it has that calm country aura, not one for young children or teenagers but for a quite drink with your better half or friends I would definitely recommend. On this occasion we ordered food which was 5*. Chicken pie and mash was delicious and the vegan halloumi burger was tasty.

We had a lovely bank holiday late lunch at Botley restaurant which it's quaint cottage/barn style coal fire insides is wonderful. The staff were very friendly, helpful and we couldn't fault the service. The food was delicious and good size portions. Not a cheap meal out but worth the extra cost for a brilliant meal.

Beautiful old pub. Fantastic Sunday roast of locally sourced products. Lovely friendly staff too. Dogs allowed. Such a bonus. Roasts around 18 quid mark. Well worth it. Huge portions. Book at the weekends.

We went to the Botley hill farmhouse on New Year’s Eve. Second time I have been there since moving into the area. Service is impeccable - so good but not too much. The food is fantastic - the flavours are just brilliant. An absolutely fantastic pub and restaurant - will be coming back again a and again!

excellent menu meal portions are good....wine and beer abit expensive....lovely beautiful location. Historical converted Farmhouse. In the winter warm open fire is lot and candles romantic atmosphere...excellent warm friendly knowledgeable staff...great views outside of the valley...a bit of local history during WW2 spitfire shot down a German bomber on grounds and photo near the bar of both pilots meeting each other here for a drink. The food is delicious....good venue for winter or summer small or large groups. Private rooms for hire Available for private function.

We went for dinner here recently and it was amazing! The staff were extremely attentive and the food was cooked to perfection particularly the lamb. Can not rate highly enough. The atmosphere inside was also fantastic! Worth a visit.

Lovely dog friendly Pub/restaurant. I recommend this place for great view, relax, good food and drinks.
