I cannot speak highly enough about Bua Thai restaurant. I went with my wife on Valentine's Day, and, from the moment we stepped in, everything was perfect. We received a very warm welcome from the owner, we're promptly shown to our table and our waitress came very quickly for our drinks order. The place is decorated in a typically Thai style and there was a really nice ambience, probably helped by the fact it was fully booked. The food was plentiful and absolutely delicious and the prices were very reasonable.Service was attentive but not over-bearing and there were some very nice little touches relevant to the day. It's all too easy to forget about the smaller restaurants on your doorstep and, in the past, we have certainly travelled miles to a restaurant that hasn't been half as good as this one. There is no question now, when we fancy Thai food, this is where we'll be heading.I cannot speak highly enough about Bua Thai restaurant. Absolutely brilliant. Lovely attentive staff (Sally in particular was amazing), excellent food served hot, and really reasonable prices as well. We had the set meal of 2 courses for Β£12.50 offered Thursday to Sunday lunchtime and it was really good value for money.Covid measures in place, very clean and easily accessible for my elderly parents - will definitely return.

Excellent food and the set menu was so well priced it shouldn't be allowed. Staff were friendly and amenable.

We enjoyed a lovely evening here - attentive service and delicious food! After recently moving to the area, we have been looking to explore more local restaurants and thai cuisine is an absolute favourite of ours - very happy to say that we will definitely be returning! We tried the prawn toast & duck spring rolls for starter (don't forget the mixed crackers) - all amazing. As well as red Thai curry and a duck curry special for main!! Highly recommend you try this restaurant π

Went for a late birthday lunch with my mother and grandmother. Tables brightly lit, decor somewhat ornate and clean. It was empty so we were seated straight away. Food was hot and appropriately spiced (not too much). Lunch menu was reasonably priced with a starter (I had Chicken Satay, three piece, dip was suitably nutty; their tempura-battered shrimp "was lovely") and a main course from a restricted menu of mostly rice and one noodle dish with a choice of meats. Server was patient and answered questions when ordering and was kind enough to switch to Drunken Noodle sauce for my order (the dish was not on the lunch menu), and boxed my grandmother's Pad Thai to take when she couldn't finish. Paid ~Β£45 for three, inc. drinks and my dessert. I wouldn't go for that bombe again, the orange tasted artificial, but it arrived correctly frozen and presented well, like all dishes. Deserves more traffic at lunch!
