cafe papillon in Tandridge

I had lunch there today, the food was absolutely delicious and servings fit for a king. New waitress Claire was very professional and informative considering it was her first day with them. Highly recommended!!

I can’t help but too notice the way that the young girls working in the cafe are treated I overheard the chef call one of the young girls a c**t I think this is appalling and no one should be treated this way let alone young people trying to earn money for themselves , you should be really ashamed

I have to be honest, our tomato soups were really not great. Served barely warm. Our table wasn't clean, and the waitress rolled her eyes when I asked if she could wipe it down before putting our cutlery on it. And lastly, I asked for a crossiant to go, and the server was touching my crossiant with her hands to pull them apart before giving me one in a bag.I felt ripped off when I left.

Not a happy customer. Bought a takeaway late this morning. As soon as I left the cafe, the paper cup started leaking from both top and bottom. By the time I got to the station, coffee was all over my hands and I had to bin it. Complete waist of £3. Shame that I was running for my train and couldn't come back and show them the problem. Hope they do something with their cups as I left Oxted very disappointed, with dirty hands and no coffee.

Excellent service and helpful, friendly staff. Staff were extremely accommodating of my dietary requirements. Great food as always though did notice that cake portions are considerably smaller than my last visit 7 months ago . Definitely worth a visit 😊

quality food I have a take away full English and it is the best in Surrey love the pastries and cakes quality coffee and service is top notch just been redecorated and looking fresh cant wait for the reopen
