Went for a lovely meal for my partners birthday, what great food and amazing service, felt so welcoming on arrival. Had the fillet steak with prawns and was cooked to perfection 👌 will be attending again very soon

Good quality food and cocktails, reasonably priced. Very attentive and friendly staff. Stunning venue but skimped out on the toilets.We waited a while for our food but it was a busy Saturday night and the staff picked up on it and offered a complimentary dessert.They have a Saturday brunch I’m keen to try so will be back!

5 stars for food, great cocktails. Very enjoyable.3 stars overall because table was for two hours and we were being asked to vacate 1 hour 40 mins in and had to eat dessert outside.

Excellent evening meal at this very smart eatery. All meals cooked to perfection and served quickly and efficiently. Special mention to the Tuesday night special of steaks at half price. Not the cheapest place to eat but well worth it for a special occasion.

There was no room inside the inn for us, but the manager showed mercy and allowed us a space outside on the patio where gas heaters kept us warm. Tuesday, the day we visited, was luckily "Half Price Steak Night" and the sirloin and rump cuts we ordered were both tender and delicious. Our waitress, the lovely Eva, provided attentive, good humoured service throughout our meal. Although very tasty, our meal was somewhat keenly priced and wouldn't have been affordable to humble travellers like us if it wasn't for the 50% off deal. Eva, however, thoroughly deserved the tip we left her and should receive a huge pay rise and immediate promotion if there is any justice in the world. Bravo!

Hold onto your glasses and wine bottles! We ate here last night and one of the servers kept removing glasses with stuff in them from our table. Also, quite bizarrely, I had just refreshed my wine glass when she came to the table and tipped more in - as if she was emptying the bottle and I hadn't done it properly - consequently overfilling the glass. I then had to rescue the bottle from her because she went to take it away even though there was some wine left in it. She did all of this without asking or even speaking so it felt very strange and impersonal. (It's not the kind of restaurant where staff automatically top up glasses). My husband lost his last mouthful of wine when she whisked his glass away, again without speaking or asking. We didn't notice her smile at all through the evening. Later on, when she seemed to want people to leave (she went round each table asking if people wanted anything else before closing- which seemed an odd thing to do in a restaurant) we asked if there were end of the meal shots available - often offered as goodwill, she effectively told us to come back on our birthdays! In other news, the food was fine, bit pricey as you have to pay for tiny side dishes (£5 for a tiny pot of mac 'n' cheese), the drink was good (when you're allowed to finish it) and the atmosphere was nice. The rest of the staff was fine, too.

A lovely restaurant, food was fab, atmosphere was excellent, waitresses were polite. Sophie looked after us, i was there celebrating my 60th birthday,you couldn't wish for a better waitress , nothing was too much trouble, happy & smiling looked after us so well, an asset to your establishment.

Food was literally delicious. I’m talking the starter, main & dessert…The burger is worth the hype!Staff were welcoming and the environment was very relaxing. I look forward to returning

Great menu, tasty food, good portion size and nice presentation. Lots of cocktails, mocktails and a good wine list too. Very friendly staff. I will go again.
