Old Bell in Tandridge

Wonderful place, first visit only . The food was lovely, great menu choices, and attentive service. It was a quiet night so it may not be the same on a busier weekend or a Friday but we would certainly go back

Very disappointed - the service was awful, slow and unfriendly. The restaurant was not full but the waiter who served us appeared stressed and fed up, making a lot of noise as he charged around. When I politely asked if we could sit on a empty table opposite which was not next to a hot radiator, he snapped saying you want me to clear it then ? The roast was average but the portions of meat were sparse. There were 2 young waiters who served us later who were more friendly, however the older waiter made the experience unpleasant and was frankly rude. We will not be visiting again.

Popped in for Sunday Lunch. Really goid roast. Nice and hot and plenty of gravy as I like. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very ckean, tables spotless. Super quick service. Will be back.

Brilliant staff and brilliant food cooked by the amazing chef Luke was so satisfied with what I was given it was one of the best burgers I have ever had and will be returning more regularly for that exact burger !

A nice old place with the interior is more contemporary whilst still being in(n) keeping. Staff were friendly, polite and efficient. The menu was fairly varied, though not extensive, and the food was nice enough, though nothing to rave about (the fish wasn't fully cooked in places). A quiet and enjoyable mid week evening but even allowing for the huge increase in prices post pandemic, it still seemed expensive.

Very reasonably priced Supper Club option. Good, considerate service, meal exactly as expected - sea bass with scallops worth the small extra. Felt like a little treat, which is what we wanted.

Very good service. Staff friendly and made you feel welcome. We stopped for a quick lunch, there was plenty to choose from and food was very good. Minor gripe was the fried fish was a bit overcooked but everything else was excellent and inexpensive. Would recommend and will definately return to taste other dishes. Great service and great food. Portions were just perfect. Staff are friendly, helpful and attentive. Lovely outdoor seating area with umbrellas for shade and a good sized car park.

A lovely, homely and friendly little place with lots of character. A nice place for a quiet drink or meal. Very friendly and responsive staff. Thanks to Huw for looking after us during our meal in the restaurant. Please note that as we went fairly late and midweek, it was relatively quiet, so in the attached pictures you will see a lot of empty tables!
