Best fish and chips in local area l buy 3 times a week ,good value.

Friendly staff and quick service. Have ordered here multiple times, food has always been nice and waiting times reasonable. Would recommend!

I ordered the first time at sharps fish and chips , it was very busy but the staff was welcoming quick and friendly.I ordered standard Cod, chips and mushy peas which came to a very good price.It was the best fish and chips i have ever tasted. Wonderful soft, white cod, beautiful light, crisp batter and perfectly cooked chips, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. I would highly recommend it.

Food turned up 30 mins late, missing items and these are apparently chicken nuggets, owner wouldn’t give any refund. Worse take away Food I have ever received

I ordered haddock and chips and in the past this place was fantastic. But whilst the fish was good, the chips were dried out and luke warm, maybe a few hours old. So the 3 stars is just for the fish. Disappointing on this occasion.

I have been using this fish and chip for years and have always highly recommended. Sadly, last night my usual haddock and chips were way below standard, the batter was flat and soggy and the chips were overcooked. It looks like it's changed owners as the usual team were not there, I hope it's one off disappointment.

We was staying at a local campsite and had been told that this place delivered to the main gates of the site.Never knowing what to expect we placed an order for the family and was told it would be cooked and delivered to the site in about half an hour and that the driver would call to say that they had arrived.True to their word they did exactly that. The fish we had was lovely the batter was crisp and not greasey in the slightest. The chips were great too.All in all we was very happy with the service we received and the quality of the food.We recommended to others staying on site to give you a try.

Read the reviews, sounded very good. Ordered at 6.30, what we received was old, dry chips that looked and tasted like leftovers from lunchtime. Fish was dry too. Paid more than I would normally, and to be Frank feel ripped off.

Great little place to get your dinner :) hope the pic helps some people as the menu I found was wrong.Update:Now even better as they deliver. Made nice and easy with WhatsApp. I also believe that prices have gone up since I posted the pic of menu but still a good guide line.Now with just eat such a great place 🤟👍

I left a review some weeks ago now saying that the meal was not up to par, owner replied with their reason. However, today I ordered a large cod and chips and the quality seems to be great again so I accept their reason for the last time I ordered. Trust has been restored I'm happy to say and avoidance of entering the black book! Will be shopping here more often and can now again highly recommend.
