Good menu, friendly staff, nicer inside than it looks outside. Enjoyed our visit.

It has been a very long time since we have visited the Shipley Bridge restaurant. The look of the building was a disappointment and the huge pile of cigarette ends outside of the main door did not make a good first impression. We were greeted lamely, seated and our order taken, no fillet steak left at lunchtime which was surprising. We had a rump steak meal and a pie and mash meal both of which were not very nice but we battled on, paid the bill and left. We were not asked at any time if everything was alright.Needless to say we would not recommend this restaurant or return again.

Good variety of food and good quality (apart from my lasagne that was just 'ok'). The remaining dishes - starters and main courses - were very good. Staff were friendly and efficient. Have been here before and will go back.

We used the Shipley Bridge for a light lunch earlier today. The food was very tasty and great value for money. The restaurant was very comfortable and a very relaxing environment. Our server was Yvonne as she did a brilliant job, both friendly and efficient! 😊 overall a very nice visit thank you!

Went to The Shipley for their burns night 4 course set menu and wasn’t disappointed! The service from the offset was amazing and the food was better than imagined. There was only a short wait between all 4 courses (15 minutes max) and it was piping hot and full of flavour. So glad I decided on this venue!

Popped in for dinner on the off chance and the team quite happily accommodated. Excellent food and such great service. Will defiantly be back again. Such a charming pub with a lot of character.

Went for Christmas meal. Was greeted as we walked through the door and led to our table. It wasn't really busy but there was a nice atmosphere. We were served a drink and when our food came out it looked good. The starters were really nice.Main course was really tasty and well cooked. Meat was tender and vegetables were just right. Yorkshire pudding was well done....not soggy but a nice crunch to it.Afters were not to our liking but nothing to do with Shipley Bridge. We aren't really after eaters. All in all was a thoroughly enjoyable evening out. So much better than where we went last year. Will definitely return again!

On what has been a cold and wet day it was lovely to sit by a roaring fire, and have a scrumptious meal at The Shipley Bridge. The atmosphere and ambience were very pleasant, soft music, pretty lighting, lovely decor. Lily our server was so sweet, friendly and looked after us perfectly. We will definitely be coming back soon.

Fantastic gem of a pub... went with some friends yesterday for a Christmas get together. Food and staff were very friendly, helpful and polite and the meal was perfect. Will definitely be going back for more. Special thanks to the staff, I believe they were Amanda, Andy and Lilly. Excellent service could not of asked for a better visit to your pub.

Sunday lunch for the me, the missus, daughter and mother in law. From the moment we arrived we were made welcome. Service throughout the meal was excellent. Food was spot on, all cooked and presented perfectly. 10/10 recommended.
