Thai Lounge in Tandridge

Great food had a takeaway and was great. Prefer to eat in as great place

We hosted a party at Thai lounge on 5th March, the team were so accommodating and helpful. They made sure everything went to plan perfectly and gave us free reign to decorate and plan our event. They are such lovely people, we couldn’t be happier! Everyone had so much fun and food was delicious! Can’t wait to go back for one of their tribute nights. Thank you all so much.

Very upset the first time we have ordered from here and didn’t get the full order. Meat was fatty and not alot of meat on the starters! Won’t be ordering again any time soon

Absolutely shocking service. First time using Just Eat and the Thai Lounge. Love Thai food and had high expectations, ordered before 7.25pm Saturday evening, Just Eat said 8.10 estimated delivery, restaurant confirmed 8.30pm, okay. When it got to nearly 9.00pm we started to get concerned and hungry, clicked the get the restaurant to call me button-nothing. Eventually got through to the number, was told they were sorry, driver accident! Food was on its way! When asked about what state the food would be in-'PERFECT A1 condition Sir'. Taxi arrived after 10.00pm. I asked what condition the food was in, when did he collect it? He assured me the manager had just handed him the food. It was terrible, had been standing on a shelf for over an hour I would say. Noodles and rice congealed, pancakes stuck together and all lukewarm. Dreadful service. Emailed them to ask for an explanation, no reply!

Unfortunately this isn't Thia!!It's linked to and Indian next door and they are running 2 restaurants next to each other.I'm one of 7 who thought it would be nice to have a Thia meal and we we're all very disappointed.My wife is a vegan and had no choice and the staff didn't realise that fish paste isn't vegan or vegetarian so they definitely need to look into that as all their vegetarian meals have fish paste in them.All I can say is the whole experience was quite poor.

We turned up on time for our 8pm booking. Seated in the luxurious seats next to the gents, then we waited, waited some more, until 45 minutes passed and we still were not even asked if we wanted drinks. A polite prompt to the server asking to serve us didn’t help, so 50 minutes from sitting down and still no order taken it was time to take our money elsewhere. Avoid.

Very helpful, I ordered online but needed to add to the order. The delivery driver had just left, however they arranged another driver to send out the extra dish. Very nice Pad Thai, very happy with the service.

The service was very slow even though we were for the early dinner slot. Meals were alright, but paid and left when done as coffee and dessert was unavailable and incredibly slow on the service side. And the restaurant was not that full. Food was alright but I have had better. Was not that impressed to be honest.

We got a takeaway from here during the second lockdown. The order we received was wrong, such as the tofu curry not actually containing any tofu. Even if the order had been correct, it is expensive to pay £26 for two curries and two rices. Also, when we picked up there were people having drinks while they waited to collect their meals, which is against the national lockdown rules. Would not visit again.

Good for takeaways - not if you are in the restaurant!!Food good when it arrived but oh my gosh how long did we have to wait!! It was at least an hour between our starter and the main dish being served even though the restaurant was far from full.However in the meantime at least 7 or 8 takeaway meals were brought out for customers in the lounge area.How frustrating to see all this food bypass our table whilst we were kicking our heels.Won't be returning here.
