The Inn On The Pond in Tandridge

Great country pub overlooking the cricket pitch outside Nutfield, Surrey. Good location,good quality food and excellent service. Close to Mercers Park where I go paddle boarding. Some good country paths and cycle route through to the Surrey hills.

We thought we would make the best of the sunshine by stopping by for a few drinks and a nibble over the Bank Holiday. Busy as expected but the service was good as always and the drinks went down easy.

After being looked after so brilliantly on Christmas Day, the extended family decided to descend on Inn on the Pond for Easter Sunday.The staff were attentive and friendly as we have come to expect and the food portions keep both my teenagers satisfied! Highly recommended, lovely surroundings, great staff - what more could you ask for?

Reading some of the not so pleasant reviews on here I wonder if we visited the same establishment. It's a traditional wood beamed pub with lots of outdoor tables, an inside restaurant, and in a rather beautiful location.Welcomed by a couple of staff at the bar, and although a little late, had kept the table for us. Seated and order taken within a few minutes. Food came in an acceptable ten minutes and was plentiful and presented well. Staff table checked twice during the meal to make sure everything was ok and to ask for further drinks. We ordered two Caesar salads and a side of fries and halloumi. More than we needed as portions were on the large size.Overall fabulous staff, great food, good value in a lovely location. Seriously what's not to like. Give it a try.

Amazing, cannot fault them! Brenda and Ty served us today and they were so warm and welcoming. Food was amazing! So big we had to ask for take away boxes! Pizza and chips were heavenly! Toilets clean too!First time eating out since covid and well worth the wait!!! Will be back with the rest of the family soon! So lovely sitting outside having lunch by the pond! Thank you so much!!!!

First time here and it was really friendly and welcoming. We never had to ask for a thing, except the bill at the end of the meal, because they were really attentive.The roast was yummy and HUGE! Pudding was equally decent, and the whole thing just felt home cooked amd fresh; we were thoroughly stuffed at the end of it. They had a blues band on as we were leaving, which sounded great!Highly recommend this local Gem! 👌

My daughter who is a local booked a Mother’s Day lunch for me.The Sunday roast is amazing, not only because it’s giant portions but also due to the quality of the meat, I had the three meat roast which consists of chicken, beef, and lamb, all were cooked to perfection, tender and delicious and I found out that the meat is supplied by a local butcher, not to leave out the roasted vegetables and giant Yorkshire pudding which were all delicious also. We had to take some home due to the very large portion.Starters and desserts were very good too.A lovely Inn, wonderfully attentive and very polite staff who can’t do enough to please their customers, it really made my Mother’s Day memorable and I look forward to returning.Also dogs are allowed in downstairs which is great if you’re walking your dog and want to stop in for a drink at the bar or a delicious sit down lunch.Overall a fantastic place to spend a good few hours, I highly recommend this Inn.

We enjoyed a really lovely meal here. Portion sizes are very generous and the staff are really attentive. Dessert was delicious and I would especially recommend the cheesecake. The apple crumble is apparently the best around too!!

First visit to Inn on the Pond for a Sunday roast. Absolutely delicious roast lamb. Very generous portions, and friendly efficient staff. We had a lovely time and hope to return next time we're nearby
