Absolutely amazing, great ale, great company and dogs are so welcome.

Best local ever... a proper country village pub with very friendly owners. A real community feel to it and such a good spot to sit in the afternoon and evening sunshine and enjoy a drink or three

Love this pub, so cosy, friendly staff although the landlord was very rude to one of my daughters. Food is good but had a disappointing Sunday roast , food was cold and the portion size of the pork was 2 slices.

I had a fantastic afternoon and evening at the Old House At Home Pub in Harborne today. During these difficult times I have been impressed by the excellent customer service of provided by the entire team who are a credit to this fine establishment.Inparticular one of the Pub Team Kieran has been extremely professional and helpful with his customer service.Kieran always goes the extra mile and nothing is too much trouble for him. He has clearly and concisely explained to me all the changes that have taken place and always keeps me updated with any changes when they happen.I would like to express my sincerest thanks to Kieran for his compassionate and helpful nature and he is a real asset for the Old House At Home in Harborne. Thanks Kieran and cheers!

First time back to the Old House at Home since the refurb and I must say they have done a fantastic job. Outside area looks amazing and the frozen pint glasses was a nice touch. Will definitely be visiting again soon and telling friends about it.

I wouldn't eat here unless you absolutely have to.Whitebait starter was good. Chicken roast was sad: to let something like that leave your kitchen you have to have pretty well given up as a chef. The sauce was nothing more than corn-starch and a stock cube: glistening brown water. The chicken fillet was ok but cold. The Yorkshire pudding was stale and very much on the black side of well done. Veg was traditionally overcooked in the old-fashioned British way apart from the chopped greens which were actually lovely. A tiny knob of butter would have raised then to perfection, but sadly... this kitchen has given up.The staff were very nice.

It's a quiet, out of the way old fashioned pub with plenty of parking. We visited as part of a work lunch; if you're in a large group I believe you have to order ahead. The portion sizes are really generous. I had the minted lamb burger, which came with a flatbread and curly fries. I was envious of the cheese ploughman's which came with large wedges of cheese, pork pies, bread and salad. The staff are friendly and willing to accommodate requests.

Visited here to celebrate my 18th with my family. The food served here was nice. The staff were all friendly and cracked a few jokes with us. This pub seemed to be more of a local's pub, but it is still a great place to be and eat.
