I was taken to The old House to celebrate Mothers Day. The menu catered for all tastes.The choices on the main menu was amazing A lovely children's menu and gluten free menu. The staff were very attentive and friendly and went to find out the answers to our questions about the menu. The food was outstanding and well presented. Very enjoyable meal in a lovely setting.

The Old House held my mum's wake, the staff were friendly, helpful and respectful of the occasion. The food was delicious. Everyone commented on what a great venue it was, perfect for the number of people we had. It made a difficult day more bearable

We had lunch here Thursday 3rd March. The food and service were splendid . Warm and welcoming staff and very accommodating with my five month old grandson and his pushchair.I had the spiced parsnip soup with an onion bhaji on top, absolutely delicious. Perfect spicing, consistency and still tasting of parsnip. One of the best home made soups I have ever eaten.My daughter had the belly pork, again delicious, full of flavor and succulent.My grandson did not eat (even though he was desperate to tuck into our food), due to not having any teeth yet, but he enjoyed the atmosphere and attention from our lovely waitress.Thank you all for a lovely lunch time meal.

Booked this for an 18th birthday, they have a big room they hire out...Fantastic service on the night, food was amazing & served to a very high standard...Lovely friendly staff & a lovely atmosphere.Would 100% recommend 👌

Very friendly staff from the second you arrive. The breakfast team were fantastic and the breakfast is worth every penny. They even gave our dog a couple of sausages and were so nice. Accommodation lovely and csn imagine even better when the weather is nice with having the large garden at the back, was muddy and water logged when we went due to the bad rain. Cosy charming place, fantastic for disabled people too. Our bathroom was fully modded for anyone in a wheelchair. Bed was lovely and slept great. WiFi free and given the code straight away. Credit to the whole team and thankyou for making the stay a welcome one.

Cozy country pub with a good variety of dishes to choose from. Friendly staff and a good selection of ales. A word of warning, watch your head! They were a lot shorter 400 years ago.

It has to be one of the finest places in the UK I got served a magnificent roast chicken dinner along with chocolate and orange cheesecake which was a delight and the staff members were amazing, the waitress that served me and my family did a fabulous job as did the other people who looked after us all I am definitely returning hungry for more congratulations
