Good spot, next to station, good beer selection. Place, location, beer and food all excellent.

Another go to pub when I’m in the area. Very spacious, interesting menu. Highly recommend English breakfast 🍳. It’s right next to the Oxted Station 🚉 and the high street.

·

Great size portions and yummy food. Lovely staff and was lovely and clean inside.

Usually acceptable, but the breakfast we had on Saturday was pretty dire. Admittedly we arrived at the runt end of breakfast serving, but everything was rubbery and luke warm to cold. We chose not to complain as we had a timetable to stick to.

Came here for a bite to eat early evening on a Sunday ... not to busy & food arrived quickly. Staff were friendly & polite. Only complaint I have is that it was absolutely freezing cold in there. Was shivering throughout my meal, other than that, OK.

Had a good time having a catch up with our friends, the bar service was a bit slow and so was ordering and waiting for food to be served this was due to staff sickness (due to Covid), our server was very sorry we had to wait for our food, we will definitely be going back because the food was lovely, I felt sorry for the staff rushing everywhere, they done a good job considering.

The Oxted Inn is the pub in Oxted. Very close to the station which is handy if you've missed the train or there are delays. Frequented by a mixed bunch of people who enjoy the ambiance of this old style public house. Mixed seating from booths to small tables and a larger area for diners. The usual 'Spoons fare is served by pleasant and accommodating staff and it exudes a comfortable and friendly air.

Needs a refresh, needs a bit of TLC and needs a couple of staff removed. From one end of the bar to the other I heard a member of staff refer to customers as “sh*t”. Same member of staff had to be told to stop ignoring certain customers. Can be pretty grubby if the management can’t be bothered to get staff clearing the tables/bar and wiping down. Recently had a pungent vomit smell due to the floor covering behind the bar not being clean. Food not great and have had to send drinks back because the glasses smell of rancid water. Has been a lot better run in the past, some great characters in there at times though and 95% of the staff are fantastic and deserve to work in a much better establishment.

Service was great. I recommend using the app and getting table service if your eating as it worked very well. The food is good value for money, but standard pub fair. Some older people next to us found the servings a little to big but I wouldn't complain. As normal on a Friday lunchtime you take your chances getting a table as it gets very busy.

Child friendly (on one side!). Takes a while for the food to be delivered (hence deducted one star) but is good consistent standard when it comes. Free water at the bar. Kids menu and crayons available. Try using the Wetherspoons mobile app to order to save yourself a trip to the bar. Make sure you check out the daily special menus like curry club day. The breakfast is also great here!
