The Red Lion in Tandridge

Great little find, with loads of atmosphere. This pub blends modern and traditional very well with a clean crisp decor and well laid out tables amongst an open maze of old oak columns and lovely art work focused around game animals with a few traditional rifels and muskets hanging about. Food was yummy and served all day every day with a good selection of beers and ales.... It really was a great little find😉👍🍺😁

Lovely village pub. Really good pint served by friendly bar staff. Looks a great place to eat, sadly I did not have time, but will return to sample at later date.

Really nice lunch, staff super friendly, food good value for money, atmosphere great, definitely coming back for more. I had the scampi which tasted very fresh and was piping hot, also had a lovely coffee.

We first went here at the beginning of February, and had a lovely meal, the staff were very accommodating, friendly, smiling all the time, nothing too much trouble.We returned last night, and again I couldn't fault the service, staff or food. I unfortunately had a pea go down the wrong way, and started to cough to dislodge the culprit, no sooner had I started my coughing, i was presented with a glass of water, thanks very much. I can not praise the Red Lion enough, food, staff, welcoming, friendly all is great, so I can't understand a review of 2 weeks ago, they must of got out of the bed the wrong side that day. Thanks again for our great experiences. Well done.

2.5 stars...Average pub food. Last time we went, I had a veggie burger and to be honest it was like something straight out a packet. My sister in law had the chicken curry and was extremely disappointed. The staff were friendly but the food was not great. Go for a pint and a sandwich. Hope they up their game, will report back when we go again.

Great Food, (liver bacon n onion gravy) well kept beer (Timothy Taylor's Landlord) , friendly staff very accommodating for our Dalmatian.. Enjoyed the company of Ben in the bar he certainly had some tales to tell.. Would certainly visit again when in the area..

2.5 starsUnfortunately totally agree with James Smith - lovely pub for a drink. Ambience and staff were great and it was busy at lunchtime but very disappointed with the food.I believe they may be understaffed in the kitchen as advertising for a trainee chef so maybe that was the reason?!

A great traditional pub serving good quality food and ales with decent parking facilities. Staff are warm and welcoming I will return and would recommend to all who like a traditional pub.

Our local pub have been eating there for the last 15 years, never had a bad meal in all that time, also the staff are so helpful and friendly.

Popular and very good pub and restaurant. They have done good food for many years and continue to do so.Pleasant and helpful staff.I had fish fingers in baguette with gherkins, homemade tartar sauce and crisps. A very good lunch.
