Chilworth Arms in Test Valley

I’ve been coming here for a while now and the staff are friendly and the food is amazing. It’s a lovely restaurant/bar in a lovely location. Service is nice and quick and always a great atmosphere. Would highly recommend as somewhere to go for some food or just a pint.

I came to the Chilworth Arms for the Sunday lunch. I had the trio of roasts and all 3 meats (pork, chicken and beef) were cooked perfectly. The gravy and the trimmings were also to a very high standard, one of the best roasts I've had in years!Lovely country pub atmosphere with very pleasant and polite staff, I will be returning!

Good menu and nice environment. Main course wasn't as hot as I'd hope for and the plate was cold which didn't help the vegetables stay hot. Food was freshly cooked and nicely presented however. Dessert was excellent and good value. Will be coming again. A larger selection of bitter would be nice.

Lush food as always. Incredible 50% offer off mains voucher, this brought in a lot of custom for the pub which gave it a buzz with people enjoying their evening. Very enjoyable sociable evening with my friends. Felt very safe too with the current covid situation. Staff were friendly and busy and did a good job

The FMB Manager Cameron is running a tight ship here. I was very impressed by the service and the food was to die for. I have below some of the photos. I had the delicious pizza with goats cheese. My son had the 10oz steak and another person had the dirty burger.We will be back!!!

We ate here as local hotel where we were staying had no availability. So glad we did! The food was 1st class. They were able to cater to my onion allergy. Good size portions. Very very tasty food. Excellent friendly service.

Looking for an impromptu dinner, we came across The Chilworth Arms. Checked out the menu and reviews online... all looked good. The staff were attentive. The premises looked promising... then the food arrived. The fish and chips were not of a high standard. They arrived way too quick to be freshly made/cooked. The shape/taste suggested they were of supermarket quality. It did not say gastro. To me it felt overpriced for what I received. Shame.

Lovely place, modern, thoughtful, comfortable. Efficient, attentive staff wanting to delight. Good food - fish and chips and plant based burger. Cold drinks and nice glassware and candles. Lots of parking. Thank you.

The best meal and lovely staff - the outside pavilion was divine to dine. A little mess up with loss of all our menus but all sorted quickly. Love it here.
