Excellent! Very cosy restaurant and bar area with fireplace. Good choice of specials and regular menu items; upmarket pub food. Lots of draught beers and ales, local and supermarket brands available. Staff were attentive and kind. Mens toilet was clean. Really nice pub I'd be happy to have as my local, Although it's more of a restaurant than pub as more space is dedicated to tables in the restaurant.

Chalk stream trout then Roast Skate wing, what unusual choices. Great quality well presented food. Good pricing. Great staff. Beautiful trendy pub. Could've had the heating on higher on a cold Feb evening. But excellent visit. Thank you

We've eaten here a number of times and recommended it to friends. Unfortunately this time two of the four meals were in edible. Very happy to change the meal however the replacements then took about 30 minutes meaning our friends had finished their meals by the time the replacements had arrived. Such a shame

Excellent meal. First class. The only let down was the service. Staff not attentive and took over an hour for our meals.

Had great food and loved the setup and price was OK. For the other person it was a shame no dairy free deserts on the menu although main had vegan bun and cheese replaced on burger which was good. It meant no one had deserts though so commercially shortsighted.

Went for a Sunday Roast. Nice setting but service a bit slow. Also wasn't enough gravy and veg for 4 people at £15 a roast. Did taste nice though.

Excellent! Really lovely decor and atmosphere. Great service. And the food! Really lovely menu and seriously yummy. I had a burger and then sticky toffee pudding and ice cream. Highly recommend.

Very reliable good standard of good, menu changed seasonally, a little expensive but you can often get deals mid-week via their website. Only two real ales but seem well kept. Nice garden area at back of restaurant, overflow area beside the car park, over the road (quiet cul-de-sac), more for drinking than reading except when they do a BBQ

Very nice and welcoming staff who are happy to chat if time allows. Bright and airy venue with plenty of seating, both inside and out.Be aware, that although this location is visible from the motorway... it's a rather convoluted journey to get here. Probably not a place I'd make a return journey too because of this.Prices are just north of average, but in general, acceptable. Decent menu.
