Great experience and fantastic food. Clear plates from all five of us and friendly service. Great garden space and refreshingly cool inside. Desserts were all some of the best we have had. Good selection of drinks. Well worth a visit you won’t regret it.

Just enjoyed a great Sunday lunch. Good service, lovely food and very reasonably priced. Will definitely be going back

Have loved The Hunters for a long rime. This was the first visit for our family of 8 since a change of ownership and refurbishment. The new owners and staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The refurb has really lifted the the building but it has retained the cosy, friendly atmosphere. The food WOW! Lovely menu, DELICIOUS food, very generous helpings. Lots of great new dishes but still the 'old favourites'We were all very impressed with the quality of the food and the obvious care the chef and team put into every plate. We will definitely continue with our visits and wish the new team every success

Went to the hunters inn on Sunday for our traditional roast club trying out different local pubs on there Sunday roasts! The vibe when we first walked in was so warming, with the new owners and staff greeting us and seeing us to our table! Followed by great service and the food was incredible! So good that we have already rebooked for the following Sunday! What Chris and Nicola have done to the pub is awesome and got such a friendly atmosphere would definitely recommend to others!

Well what can I say, absolutely perfect service and amazing food from the newly refurbished Hunter Inn!The pub in its old form with the previous owners was stuck in the past and very dated. The new owners have given it a fantastic new face and really warm and welcoming feel.I went this evening with my family and we were greeted by one of the owners and shown to our table really quickly and really politely. My daughter has a nasty food allergy and they were so accommodating of this and did all they could to make sure it was clear what items were suitable or they could adapt! The food was amazing, really tasty and really good portions. It was clear that The Hunters has stuck to their word on the menu and used local, good quality food! There was a short wait for the food, but long enough it was clearly cooked fresh and not a microwave surprise. My daughter and her allergy was well catered for as stated and she absolutely loved her food and the decor (we played eye spy!)The price was very good for the quality of the food we had. Yes other chain pubs might be cheaper but that's because it's all frozen junk with no effort. All the food we had was clearly fresh and the cooks definitely put the effort in and gave us a great meal. We did note that along with looking after our allergy needs they had lots of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. The Hunters has a great atmosphere, great refurbishment and its clear the owners are really looking to be part of the community and not just another chain drinking hole.ABSOLUTELY RECOMMENDED!

Good food and good service. It's so nice to see a pub that makes the effort at customer service making your meal that much more pleasant. Couldn't fault them at all.A range of food, starters, mains and desserts. The wife was spoilt for choice which is always a good sign. One of our party was ceoliac and needed gluten free. That had their own separate gluten free menu. Again, no fuss and good selection. Atmosphere was good for a Saturday night. Table service under current circumstances but a nice relaxed evening. Came away feeling very stuffed. My choice meal of the evening was the baled Camebert, Chicken Penang Curry with a sticky toffee pudding. You had to roll me out of there.

Visited the pub tonight as under new ownership. Hugely impressed with the service and the new management. Long may it continue!! Will be going back really soon.

What a great spot! Hunters Inn had it all. Great staff and the food selection was on point and being dog friendly was the cherry on top. Didn't even have to ask for a dog bowl. Will be back again for sure

We are locals living on the same road but haven't got round to getting down for over 2 years. It was so good that it'll now be our monthly treat, good food, lovely staff and great prices. Highly recommended.

Nice pub, got a full gluten free menu, nice friendly staff, good prices, the portion sizes are large and very filling, you won't leave hear hungry, be prepared wear loose clothing, I left here with a shirt that suddenly felt a size too small.
