No stars. Awful Mother's Day meal. Quite a few meals not available from the menu. Sour dough bread was not sour dough at all but the crusts out of a cheap loaf of bread. Hunters chicken looked and tasted disgusting - the bacon was unrecognisable as it was so burnt. Side salad garnish looked as if it had been sat around all day. Gin and tonics took so long to be served all the ice had melted. It just went from bad to worse. Not really anything good to say except it was lovely to be with my family. We won't eat there again.

Great lunch today. We had the sharing platter for two which I could have had as a main meal then we had the mussels and scampi for our main courses.Only disappointment was the armchairs we where put in for the meal they where too low but the service and the food was great so all round a very good experience. 👍

We arrived here in a very busy lunchtime period and could clearly see the 2 members of staff we absolutely rushed off of their feet. However they still were able to provide great customer service and took our orders and made our drinks in a timely manor. When it came to our food arriving, it was clear that it had been sat under the heat lamp for some time, which again wasn’t a fault of the staff but perhaps the company should re-think the number of staff required on a lunchtime shift

Large pub, lots of choice on menu, although the day we came there were no burgers. We ordered through the app which seem very complicated to navigate, but I'm not tect savy. For example I had to go and ask a staff member about mushy peas, as menu said it was a option but on app it was peas or no peas. Staff all seemed happy and were friendly.

Lovely pubGreat staffDid goof up the bookingBUT fixed efficiently and in good humourThe measure if any place is NOT how they are when things go right anybody can do that; it's when things go wrong and these guys have it in spades. Thanks for a lovely meal and no hesitation with a rebook(Have been many times and had no problems and very good service)

Came for food. Waited over an hour before it came out. Although the bar staff were very helpful none of the other staff was. When the food finally came out all the salads were brown and soft. Definitely been sitting out for a while.Chicken and beef burgers were burnt, they were Cooked on the inside but the burnt outside made them hard to eat.No one came to check on us, although we could see it was. A busy day, staff should still check how the food is.

Saddened to post a negative review but had a pretty shabby experience here last Sunday.Three members of our table party had to change their orders because you were out of multiple items for the mains. There were no roasts, steaks and two people had just travelled six hours to be with family and be able to go for a roast. The food eventually came out and left a bit to be desired for. It was warm and we were checked on several times by a few different members of staff.Very different compared to when we wanted to order and there was no staff around at all.Ordering pudding and half of the menu is not available and we all decide on a few different things. Cheesecake was decided on by my partner and again, they didn't have his first choice. Okay, not a problem so we went for the salted caramel sundae. They did not have this either. Not only did he not get his choice of main, but he didn't get his choice of desert either. Not the first time that this establishment has had 4% of the menu, but definitely adds to the impression of this pub. We keep giving it another chance- and each time it seems to be the same.Very disappointing.

We had a very rare family reunion last weekend and researched restaurants carefully. Our group included 3 young children so we wanted a safe play area, for when they got bored. My daughter called in to the Luzborough to see their walled garden and play area. She spoke to a lady who suggested that we eat in the conservatory, so we could keep an eye on the children when they went outside. My daughter booked it and watched the lady write it on her completely empty page. She had a confirmation email, phoned nearer the time to confirm booking and again to confirm numbers. Each time she was told everything was fine. When we all arrived on Saturday we were told that we weren’t in the conservatory after all, another large party had booked it. They had shoved several mismatched tables together in the bar for us. Obviously couldn’t see the garden and, because we were in the bar, it wasn’t table service and should really take our orders to the bar. They did make an exception for this.Three meals were unavailable and two of the sweets didn’t arrive until everyone had finished theirs and we asked where they were. The food was fine and we all enjoyed getting together but the Luzborough was a big disappointment.

A group of us came out for an evening meal here last week. The paper menu is covid safe. The staff are very welcoming. The was food was very good and plentiful and even though there were staff shortages, we didn't have to wait long for our food.We had both squid and haloumi fries for starters and fish and chips and salmon florentine as main courses which were all excellent. As bonus we were there on a Friday and the prosecco was half price for 'Fizz friday'.We were served by Sophie and Neive in the restaurant who checked that we were OK throughout the meal and Rosie at the bar who told us all about fizz Friday as it wasn't clear on the menu. All in all a lovely evening out.

Really tasty food. Optional track and trace and order at the bar back but we still used app. Prosecco sorbet was amazing!!
