McDonald's in Test Valley

I ordered via the McDonalds app at 9.50pm for drive thru collection and was given an order number. When I got there at 10pm the drive thru was closed. I went around to the front doors and they were locked but I could see my order up in the screen through the window. When I knocked on the glass a member of staff looked up from cleaning but wouldn't come over to explain so I had to leave empty handed.

Stopped on the way back to London. Matthew who works in a customer facing on the floor role was so incredibly kind and accommodating. He was attentive to everyone that came in. We have a 3 month old and he offered to get our order, offered hot water for bottles and anything else we needed. Leaves you with a very positive feeling about stopping in a McDonald’s and people like him are an asset to any business.

On a right hot day, all I wanted was a vanilla milkshake... but it took 20 minutes from ordering to collecting in the drive through.I think it had been sitting 20 minutes waiting for me - and it was just a wee bit runny.All because some other customer jammed up the drive through. Grrrrrr....

I love this McDonald’s and every time I come to Andover I like to stop and have a meal there upstairs and just watch the world go by for half an hour or so. Always have had a pleasant experience when visiting and the staff are really helpful and friendly.

Terrible all around! Where to begin? Firstly, after walking in and standing pretty clearly at the register waiting to be served, we were stuck wising for a good 10 minutes before anybody actually came over despite making eye contact with us various times. The staff seemed lazy and miserable, and preferred standing around talking as opposed to doing any sort of work.Then when ordering, it appeared that this place has clearly been left in the prime WW2 era, as they are rationing all of their foods! Can we have a frappe? No not available. Milkshakes? Not available. Orange juice? Not available. Water? Not available.. seriously??? Oasis was the only thing they have. Then food, same story! Happy meal for the little one? Oh yes we have them, but no toys or books, or any gherkins for the burgers. What is going on? Then we wait another 10 minutes for the food, and by the time we get it half of our order is literally missing…We get that resolved and after another 5 minutes of waiting get our order. The little one starts eating his food in the meantime while we sorted this, and complains it’s cold and stale. I tried for myself and the food was literally freezing and tasted like rubber. Must’ve been left out for hours. I told the staff this and they said there was “nothing they could do about this”. Then I get my order, take a bite only to realise that SOMEHOW half of the ingredients are missing?!What is going on with this place? I thought it is probably just a one-off. Maybe it’s a bad day for them. But then I Google search… tonnes of reviews saying similar things over the past years. Absolutely disgusting. This place needs looking into, or more accurately needs closing down. Absolute joke. Avoid at all costs!

5 Stars. Not cuz it's a 5 star service or its 5 star food but because it's exactly what it should be, it meets the expectations for fast food, tastes good, never had an issue with service there, tho I'm not expecting the world from a fast food employee. They've always been polite enough and never had an issue with any orders. Don't think you can ask for more from McDonald's

Imagine my surprise when the ice cream machine was broken on a warm day. Wait times are also too long with staff loitering and chatting rather than working. Of course, everybody is entitled to a break, but not at the front counter!

Our experience today was the best that I've had so far in a UK McDonald's! Clean, fast service, super friendly and helpful employees, who'll happily bring your food to your table. Very well placed next to the A330. All in all just the pit stop our family needed today!

The staff have always been friendly enough, but the food never seems to be warm or fresh. This used to be my last resort place as it is quick and it used to be 24 hrs. It is still advertised as 24 hrs for the drive through but recently this has not been the case and it's been shut.Tldr, it's better than nothing, but given any other choice I wouldn't bother.

Easy to park and order with enough terminals available. We ordered via the app and the food arrived quickly.Staff were very friendly and helpful, food and drink was the usual standard.The restaurant was very dirty though and can’t understand why a couple of staff were loitering around the customer side of the counter doing nothing, while areas close to them were clearly dirty and needed cleaning.No cleaning took place while we were there after diners finished their meal and left the table. A potential breeding ground to pass on viruses.Too many convenient situated areas were reserved for staff and drivers, giving the feeling that they were more important than the customer.
