Pizza Express in Test Valley

We had a lovely family meal. The children's menu was just right for 3 and 6 year olds.The Romana pizzas were enormous and so tasty.Had a birthday party for a 4 year old and were wonderfully looked after with great service.

Food was great when it arrived and the dedicated waiting staff did the best they could under pressure. Seemed to be a member of staff out of uniform, possibly a manager, not chipping in and helping - fussing with bits of paper and chairs. Several big groups arrived and if he had actually helped out everyone would have been served faster.

The food was really nice but was made to feel rushed because as soon as we finished our starter our main was dropped off and then plates cleared as soon as we took our last mouthful. Did not feel relaxed or welcomed. One member of staff did not even speak to us when clearing our plates, and much to our disgust they don't do mayonnaise!!!!

We had our first Pizza party for our daughter (6 years old) last Sunday and it truly was a blast. Andrea, Heavenlee, Liam and Chef Robert did a great job to entertain 19 kids and we had a lot of fun in the process. They all enjoyed making their own pizza and then eat it. I can't recommend the experience enough. Thank you to all the team!

Good food largely (standard pizza express fare although the ice cream was absolutely awful with a "chalky" after taste). Family friendly, mostly families in a Saturday evening with packs for the children to colour in/ play with and crayons provided. Decent value kids meal, but about 50% of adult dessert menu not available.Provided you don't mind the occasional first World problem this is recommended!

Enjoyable vegan meal in nice surroundings and friendly staff. Had the nourish bowl (delicious) and raw slaw (good).

Loved the dough balls Al forno (which are covered in cheese and served with cranberry sauce).I originally asked for my pizza (padana Natale) to have the cranberry sauce taken off and Pizza Express offered to put caramelised red onions on top instead. My pizza still came with the cranberry sauce. Which the server was very apologetic for and offered to have a new one made for me. I decided to try the pizza with the cranberry sauce on and in the end kept it. The cranberry sauce is a strange addition to the pizza, but it wasn't off putting. The extra of caramelised red onions though definitely made the pizza so much nicer. They should just keep the caramelised red onions on the pizza in the first place.My husband really enjoyed his porchetta pizza (with pork and bechamel sauce) it was very different and nice. He also enjoyed amaretto dolce Vitta.I had the triple salted caramel cheesecake which was nice. The plan popcorn on top was a little strange but did add a different texture. I think if the popcorn had been sweet then this would have elevated the dessert.

They have gluten free food and dessert, the staff was friendly and professional. They were really busy as well, the place was full in the evenings all week! The pizza was great!P.S. the pizzas in the images are the gluten free ones, the regular pizzas are bigger than this. :)

I would highly recommend the Dough Balls and the Honeycomb Cream Slice! Those two dishes were amazing.The American pizza was good, but I felt it could've had larger pepperoni and more tomato pasatta on the base.The service was good too, but staff were a little inconsistent with their masks as I noticed some interacted with customers with their masks at their chin.

We went there for a celebration of work well done. The service was prompt and they were safe and we were safe distance from all the other people. The food was nice and filling. I liked the desserts. The restaurant was clean. The waitress took very good care of us. Well worth the trip
