Unbelievable food, wish I could’ve eaten it all! Service was impeccable, lovely friendly staff, always smiling, happy to chat and really enjoyed the whole experience, can’t wait to go back!

Ordered a takeaway this evening…lamb chat, mushroom rice, lamb Naga marsala and keema naan. The curry was lovely, as was the rice and chat.Sorry guys the naan spoilt it for me.It was overcooked and burnt around the edges and to be honest I ripped it to pieces and couldn’t find any meat at all.Bit disappointed to be honest.

Warm welcome and the staff were very attentive. Lovely food and atmosphere. The first visit for my wife and I and will not be our last.

Great food on Valentines night. Friendly staff. Highly recommend.

·

Lovely food. The staff very attentive but a bit brisk. Excellent table - for a local " provincial " Indian restaurant the food was excellent, authentic and plenty. The restaurant was a little stark. Well worth visit.

·

Fabulous, Authentic spices, always worth a visit and great value, strongly recommended.

·

Great food as always, but sometimes find they go too heavy on the ghee.

This is one of my favourite Curry houses. Fantastic freshly cooked curry with a few house specials I haven’t seen anywhere else. Service is attentive.

My girlfriend and I came to the Purbani on bank holiday Monday. We asked if we could sit down to have a few drinks and starters as we weren’t that hungry. They refused to let us sit down as we weren’t ordering a main course. I understand this if you were busy, but there were 4 people in the restaurant! You would have made money from the drinks alone. I’m not sure how a business survives with this way of thinking

A little gem hidden in the small town of Stockbridge. Good food, a cut above the usual takeaway place at reasonable prices. Strange how the quality of food for exactly the same dish is far better than the other restaurants (in Romsey etc...) that carry the same name.
