This is my favourite place to go on a Wednesday, Bike night at the Crown Inn. Super staff and super customers not forgetting the bikers. The locals seem to enjoy the bike nights so if you want a drink and enjoy looking at bikes then this is the place to be.

Lovely little historical pub with low ceilings, feels just like you've stepped back in time (but in a good way!) The staff are friendly and we rode over for the bike night held on a Weds Evening. They do a menu for bikers like chunky chips and Cumberland sausages which were really delicious. The kids enjoyed having cheesy chips they requested with their meals.

From the moment I walked into this Inn I felt at home. I had just spent a hard day walking the Clarendon Way towards Salisbury (partly because I walked a needless extra 4 miles) pitched my tent and walked down via the hidden track by the east side of the Inn. I was given a walm welcome by Craig (? Manager) behind the bar - even though I was only drinking water. The Public bar is small but cosy, with armchairs as well as barstools.Lovely log fire and some entertaining locals. It's a Free House with a range of Beers and Cider on tap. There is a nice dining area and I eavesdropped on the diners as they ate and heard nothing but good comments about the food. Looked like good Pub Grub. There are tables outside at the front and in the back garden. I spoke to the Landlady and she told me that they had been there for 16 years and it's a family business, a rare thing now with Wetherspoons etc. Highly recommended to Hikers and all. I will eat there next time.

Went for dinner here the other night with a friend. It's a beautiful pub low ceilings so watch out if you are tall or leave the heels at home. Food was very good and service was great. Certainly a pub I will be returning to.

Myself and a friend stumbled upon this place whilst on an impromptu motorbike ride. We stopped for a break, what a great pub, made to feel very welcome and met a few like minded bikers. Will be visiting again in the future for a bike night.

Booked a party of 13 recently and they were brilliant in organising everything. Bills split seemlessly and food right on point. We go here pretty often but this was superb service that went above and beyond!

Just visiting locally and decided to pop in for Sunday roast we phoned up first as we wanted to check dogs were allowed in the garden which they are but not sure about inside.Service was great no sooner had we sat down in the garden with our drinks our food arrived. Presented really well and tasted even better. A nice and decent village pub.
