Wonderful 2 night stay. Beautiful room. Lovely pub. Great food and drinks. Staff are friendly and helpful. Andover is a really nice town. Would definitely go back to The John Russell Fox.

Booked a room for the night last minute for £38.25. Very nice room with excellent shower and plenty of space. The big disappointment was the annoying noise of a fan ALL NIGHT. At 6am I phoned reception and managed to get it sorted. At 650am I get an expected knock on the door for a refund. That didn't happen, so back downstairs at 755 am to try again. Told to go back upstairs and said to a member of staff that this hotel reminded me of Fawlty Towers! For food I had the veggie pizza and Hazy Jane, no complaints there.Thankfully, I managed to get a receipt for a refund.Tip: enjoy the rooftop terrace

Normal this is a great place but one member of the serving team was very rude I made a mistake when ordering a pizza and ask if there was any way of the add some pepperoni while he was holding the plate and his words were no due to covid this food has left the kitchen and there is nothing I can do to help you. A simple sorry no or I will ask the kitchen if the can put a couple on a plate for you would have been much more acceptable.

Pretty standard for a spoons. Food was ok, a little burnt or over cooked. Staff doing their job as efficiently as possible. Nothing to do with spoons itself but still can't get my head around why nearly all the young lads dress the same or come out in their Pj's! Always a topic of conversation, I guess they just lack individuality these days. I blame tiktok ! Oh but back to spoons though, you can always find a seat so that's a bonus!

Stayed at the hotel & it was really nice, modern, had clean rooms and great value.Accessible 24/7 had to ask as we knew we'd be out till the early hours of the next morning. The pub was nice, great value again, friendly staff and amazing selection. As with all Wetherspoons - busy and not what you'd call a cozy place but we were able to sit, drink and get merry.

We had such a good night here. The staff are INCREDIBLY friendly and service is so fast. It is by far the cheapest place we have stayed for the night, and yet, one of the nicest! Room was really big, clean and comfortable. Staff bend over backwards for you. Will be back!

Attended for breakfast this morning. Disappointed is not the word. I could have soled my shoes with the tepid egg, could not even cut through the white. No butter / spread on the muffin. I've given one star because the coffee was good.

·

Nice place with nice rooms. We stayed for one night. Very big and comfy beds, and clean room all round. I did end up getting bitten by bugs during the night (im assuming from the hotel room) which is abit worrying, as did my partner. Other than that, decent place to stay and cheap enough.

The accommodation was perfect and so clean... Cannot fault the staff so helpful.. Could not stay the nights we had booked for due to feeling unwell, but they have been so helpful... What a fantastic group... We will be back to stay soon x

Generally a very nice place .Very big .great choice of beers .Had a weekend in Andover .Food great prices good .All staff very friendly Except one young lady who was I think a team leader .This was Sunday evening I thought she was very unprofessional shouting down the bar at two young lads cleaning .She told (Ollie) to not to talk and get on .then later as I waited for a drink at bar she promptly served a chap that just got there then walked off and ignored me .I did think her attitude was poor .Luckily another person arrived and I was served. I did mention to her about other person. As I said everyone else was lovely and friendly
