The Shoe Inn in Test Valley

On a busy road but its a lovely little pub with a nice quiet beer garden round the back.

Great food from an excellent chef combined with very friendly service.We were a party of 10 and just about everyone had something different from the menu, it was all exceptional, and the steak was cooked to perfection.Highly recommended.

We stopped at Shoe Inn while driving from Brighton to Salisbury. The food was great. The place was really nice. They have dedicated parking spot.

The Shoe inn is a hidden jem, wonderful hosts in Sarah and Andy. The breakfast and evening meals were the best I've ever had and the rooms were clean and well serviced. Altogether a really enjoyable stay.

Friendly staff, excellent food especially the sticky toffee pudding.

Great overnight location when using the IOW ferry. Good food pleasant staff .

After a two night stay we were very pleased with the shoe inn. Our room was comfortable, clean. Great view across fields and was a great size. Breakfast was nicely cooked with a good choice..evening meals were great quality and value. We will be back soon

Nice Pub with friendly service. Had Sunday lunch recently. Not particularly wowed by the meal. A bit non plus. Basic offering with cold Veg. The desserts on the other hand were beautiful. Full of flavour and very moreish......
