Everything we ordered was so sweet. Nice environment, very friendly staff, slow service.

Really good meal, lovely setting. We have been twice now, and sure to go again. The owners were really good.

Very peaceful atmosphere and decor. Delicious food. Excellent, friendly service. Good wine. Easy parking close by. Highly recommended.

Spent £40 on a takeaway for 2 - our first (and last!) time ordering from here. We ordered the yellow curry which is advertised as “mild” and has always been mild in the multiple places we have had this dish previously.The curry was very spicy, at least a medium spice. Completely inedible for my husband and I. I emailed the restaurant who immediately sent a polite reply admitting something had gone wrong and they would look into the matter. My husband then asked a few days later what they were going to do to resolve it as we hadn’t heard anything since. A very rude, very sarcastic and very unprofessional member of staff has since been sending messages to my husband, arguing that basically we have been lying because we didn’t return the curry to them (at no point did they ask for the curry to be returned, even in their initial reply the night we ordered when we could have obliged.)Our advice if you’re thinking of using Suan Thai? Certainly avoid for takeaway because if you don’t get what you ordered (even after they admit fault!) you will get a barrage of sarcastic abuse from a staff member. What a way to forge a relationship with a new customer!

Wonderful food. The Dim Sum was excellent, I had Pad Thai with prawns for the main as my daughter-in-law had recommended it. I shouldn't have had rice with it as it made the meal too big. The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere and the staff are great. We will definitely be going back there.

Always the best welcome, lovely staff and top food, would recommend the duck spring rolls, massamam curry and pad Thai, also any sea bass dish! Molly

What a fantastic evening we've had at Suan Thai. The service and food was excellent. Really good banter with the waiters. They created us a bespoke starter platter as there were 7 of us. Drinks were flowing and food was lovely and hot and very tasty. What a surprise to receive a birthday cake from the restaurant. Such a nice gesture. We will certainly be back. Thanks for a great evening.

Lovely service, food was good at a decent price.. Had to ask for some more sauce to go with my prawns as they don't give you enough..otherwise delicious..
