Lovely pub had amazing drinks and food but best of all just how homely it feels great place to have a drink and let the day go by

The service seemed friendly enough, if a trifle insincere and I was so pleased to see that tuna steak was on the menu. However, we were told that it was not available and as I wasn't keen on anything else, I just ordered chicken burger. I had asked for mayo because I don't want to eat dry french fries without any sauce and some sachets came and I tried to open one, then two, then three but was unable to open any of them. So went to the bar and asked if I wanted some scissors. No, I wanted some mayo in a little pot please! Haven't got any in bottles. Then the senior waitress appeared and said she would put some in a pot for me, which is usually how most pubs that I visit serve their mayonnaise!By the time I got back to the table, the chips were cold and I had no appetite. My other friends said the beef Stroganoff was tasteless, the batter on the fish was very thick and were not impressed. I myself would not recommend. Please make customers aware of any dishes that are unavailable when menus are handed out.

I am sorry but its a no for me .We had burgers where they didn’t put any sauce which I don’t understand how can you not put sauce to burger . We ordered chicken but it didn’t taste like chicken at all. It really tasted like some cheap stuff and we spent £70 as 4 people there . Sorry I won’t see you again

We had a lovely meal in The Town Mills yesterday. Good pub food, relaxed atmosphere and the staff we're so nice and friendly. We loved the background music too, nice and chilled. Wish our car parking ticket wasn't about to expire or we'd have stayed longer.

Beautiful place to visit. The food is 5* the staff are very friendly and welcoming. If you visit Andover this is a must place to go.

Nice outside area. Beer was in good condition...a bit pricier than other pubs in the town. Didn't eat, but the food looked okay.

Awfull never again will I step foot in hereThe food if you could call it that was disgusting everything was oily , seems they need to change their oil ... I would not have given that food to my dog !!! My stroganoff was actually luke warm ,chicken dry and onions rings looked more like a doughnut 🤮🤮🤢

The beer was quite expensive and they had ran out of the bitter we actually wanted to drink, but apart from that, it's a beautiful pub in a lovely town centre setting, the rear gardens and river are absolutely exquisite, I adored the rear beer garden, beautiful!

One of the best pubs i have been to in a long while! Lovely old watermill building backing onto a garden with a stream running through it (obviously as it's an old watermill). The staff are so friendly relaxed and down to earth - all you could want from a pub! The atmosphere waa brilliant. The inside of the pub is a classic wooden interior with wooden wheels from the old mill building on the wall, along with other memorabilia. There is a glass window indoors to look through to the old waterwheel that eas powered by the running water. There are wooden beams and a snooker table upstairs. As it was a sunny day we sat outside at the back where there is a big beer garden next to the running water. The people in the garden were so relaxed and nice but this was because of the nice atmosphere that filtered down from the staff. The serving people were SO nice and friendly. Running a good really is no more complicated than creating a nice warm atmosphere in a nice place. But many pubs around have so much trouble doing this. This one got it spot on and were not afraid of being themselves - a true english country pub.
