White Horse Inn and Restaurant in Test Valley

Impulsive decision to go for a Sunday Roast and we were not disappointed. Really friendly and welcoming staff. Absolutely incredible food and plenty of it. Definitely worth a visit. Maybe worth booking although we were lucky they fitted us in. 100% recommend.

On Thursday the 10th myself and my husband thought we would try the white horse for dinner. As soon as we stepped in Vikki made us feel so welcome. The food was great and the service we received from Vikki was so attentive, nothing was too much for her, an absolute credit to the pub. We left having a great meal and amazing service. Would definitely recommend the pub if your looking for good food and even better service.

Perfect stop off on a journey along A303. Extremely comfortable, cosy room. Easy late-check in process, staff very friendly on the phone. Thank you.

A gem hidden away just off the A303. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, and the food is delicious. Dogs are always welcome. Definitely worth a visit or two

We held the wake for my parents at the White Horse. The service was excellent the buffet delicious and everyone attending said to me how wonderful it was. 5 stars from me. Thanks

Food was good but the steak sauces disappointing (we tried all 3, go for the pepper, sadly no mushroom sauce) but the cuts were good. Staff excellent. Dogs allowed but not in all areas so tell them in advance. All in all a very good choice.

A lovely homely pub. Friendly efficient staff. Food was fantastic. Vegetables were done to perfection. Portion sizes were very generous. Beers were amazing. Obviously well kept and stored. Will definitely be returning

Friendly , helpful staff. Slightly undercooked vegetables on the roast dinner, which was otherwise very tasty. Location next to A303 but road noise cannot be heard inside.
