Wimpy in Test Valley

Decided to try Wimpy this is my first visit to a Wimpy I had never heard of it before but to be honest I thought it was a little lackluster for what it was. My biggest point is the price. I mean £8.45 for a double quarter pounder with cheese is ridiculous.But the food quality was good at least this I could not fault certainly wouldn't come back as for the market that its playing has many other cheaper alternatives doing just as good a job in terms of price and quality.

Place was busy. Disappointed that items allergen safe for one of us weren't due to being cooked with items containing the allergen. That wasn't displayed anywhere and a good job we asked. Then came out with the wrong items on the wrong plates so yet again allergens mixing. Really disappointing considering said serious allergy was pointed out to both our waitress and the chef. I love wimpy but won't be going back to this one.

Really polite and helpful staff. Great food too! Pleasantly surprised considering my last trip to Wimpy was in maybe 2000?

Was a very good place to eat a few years back, but unfortunately since a passing it really hasn't been as good. It's such a shame as the Family Nate so nice, but whoever they have trusted to be in charge just doesn't have the same passion and it shows, and what's happened to all the good deals it used to have like two Qtr pounder meals for £10 etc..... And the chip portions are tiny, all wimpys are as famous for the chip portions

Thought I had been ripped off. Close to £11 for quarter pounder with cheese chips and a Pepsi. Quarter pounder tasted different to what it used to be....£3.25 for a regular Pepsi is ridiculous. I definitely will not be going back..also had no thick shakes.

I am incredibly fussy when it comes to food. I always end up complaining. But not at wimpy staff seemed happy and very friendly service is quick. The coffee was just what I needed and the all day breakfast was scrumptious my egg was cooked beautifully oozed perfectly just right for dipping. Will definitely be coming back
