Wyke Down Country Pub & Restaurant in Test Valley
Where is Wyke Down Country Pub & Restaurant?
🏠 Walworth Rd, Andover SP11 6LX
"The Wyke Down is a food-focused country pub on the outskirts of Andover, offering a relaxed family friendly service at a reasonable price. We have an open spacious dining area, sun-trapped conservatory overlooking the surrounding countryside and a large fenced garden with a children's play area, plenty of benches and loads of parking. We offer traditional pub food fresh home-cooked dishes like steaks, fish & chips, roasts and stone baked pizzas too, using locally sourced ingredients and a great selection of drinks. Tables at the Wyke Down are distanced inside and out to comply with Governmant guidance and the garden has been increased in size with extra tables available. Booking is advisable to avoid disappointment."

A lovely country pub. A warm welcome on arrival and really good service throughout our visit. The Sunday carvery was delicious and at a reasonable cost. Will definitely visit again.

Food mediocre noisy kids. On the rough side. Loud woman in garden obviously passed and swearing. Perfect for children then. Rough music. All I wanted was a decent meal, good service and reasonable prices in a nice quiet country pub. Went to McDonald's instead.

Newly opened (A month ago). Looks nice and clean. That's where the compliments end. Terrible service as they forgot to put one of our orders through, no table check, no-one asked us if we would like another drink (we had to chase the staff down), my peri-peri chicken should have been with garlic mayo (which was a dot in the middle). Toilets were dark and I almost bumped into someone. How much do bulbs cost people? Once the 1 starter had arrived (after 20 mins) it then took 45 mins for the mains to turn up. Menu is very limited unless you want a burger. And the prices are insane for the quality of service. All in all not a good experience. I will not return for a meal here.

Was there to celebrate my sister's birthday along with family. Staff are very welcoming, polite and attentive. I've not had such a tasty steak for a long time, cooked to perfection. Thank you all for making us feel so welcome, Tracey & Roch elle *****

First time we arrived on a Sunday and really enjoyed the food! The pub is clean with a lot of open space and dog friendly. Brownie and ice cream itself tasted delicious ! Although there were few things we did not like it as much, the food overall was well presented as well as the table was laid out nicely. We will come again soon.
