Always get the oap fish and chips one lot feeds me and my partner not expensive and really good quality

Having lived in London I wonder why I was paying so much Alfies is THE BEST quality, portion sizes, value for money and the staff are always nice too.

Best fish and chips I had. Large portions, crispy fish , both fish and chips are not greasy at all. Will visit again. Staff are friendly, highly recommended!

Tried this chippy because of the good reviews and happy to say this is a good chippy. The prices are good and potion size ample. I could not eat all my dinner on a medium cod and chips with mushy peas.They do not sell pots of gravy but you can get curry sauce and mushy peas.Parking can be difficult.

Excellent! 5 star fish and chips, certainly one of the best places in Thanet for our traditional meal, cooked fresh to order and service with a smile. If you do have to wait for serving it's only because it's busy due to it's popularity with locals who know good fresh fish and chips, and definitely worth the time you may have to spend in line.

So kind and so hardworking. Cooks my chips and fish with care. No compromise on cooking fresh chips and the fish is always freshly cooked and delicious. I would give them Five Stars but I don't want them too busy to cook my Chips so we'll.

Lucky to have it as a local. Tried nearly everything on the menu and never been disappointed. Very friendly staff. Incredibly good value. Looks lovely and clean. In the current climate they are doing their very best to be covid secure and they ladies and gentlemen are doing a wonderful job. I would eat here every day the grub is delicious. It is always a nice treat having an Alfie's for the family and me.

Amazing Margate fish experience in every way.... BUT, you might find fish and/or chips are on your menu every day 🤞Mouth watering writing this review 💦Was in a rush or I could have shown a way better pic of the oh so crispy, crunchy, just the tight thickness batter surrounding a very succulent, firm yet soft white piece of medium size cod with mushy peas, and for me, lashings of vinegar and some saltIt was perfectly cooked as was the 🌞 friendly and professional chit chat🙏 Thank you and 💯see you again soon (the chips looked awesome and it took a lot to say no thanks 👼)
